I had a run in the Ferrari last night and after a spin at the top of of the hill opposite the lake, engine was gone and rear left tyre fully red (on damage display).
Weirdly, as I was coming to a stop the engine revved flat out despite not touching the throttle . . . then blew!
I  had that engine revving weirdness in these cars in heavy crashes this season.

Wonder if there is something about this track making it happen more frequently. I haven't had the issue anywhere else but I've had it happen 4 or 5 times here and one was the slightest of spins onto grass where I didn't even hit anything.

In any case, by the descriptions this track is one I'll avoid, I don't want to become the public menace :)

I should learn how to push harder.
I've been using this track for about 6 months and didn't come across an issue, which is why I suggested it. :-[

Monaco 66 is not on the track list, from my short tests it seemed fine except the ai was a bit wonky

Wasn't it something like the Melkus?

Do you have a link?
I don't have the 66 version and haven't come across one. :(

It's been interesting watching the fastest lap times on the practice server. First Joe, then Guybrush, then Phil.

Seems to have a good correlation between laptimes and laps done as well, well until you get to my time  :-[

Getting the fastest lap time is a good strategy - the safest place is going to be out in front!
