Did a few laps practice. Nearly all of them hitting walls got one in low 53s, then the next was gonna be a 52 something but hit the wall on the last corner. Formula rim really not helping with this car/track combo but have't got the round rim yet

Hardware & Reviews / CSW V2 vs CSL Elite vs TS-PC Racer« on: February 08, 2017, 04:36:51 PM »
This is the review I really wanted before I spent all my money but couldn't wait that long.
Basically comes down to the CSL and TS-PC being pretty much the same, but IMO the fanatec rim is heaps nicer. CSW V2 clearly better than the other two, which you'd hope with the higher price. CSW V2 has also just had a $100 price drop. Interestingly the dude was around 1 sec quicker with the CSW V2 than the other two bases so I guess that explains how Phil is so fast 1278

You joined XGN after me but I had that long baby enforced hiatus so I'm only in the 80s. No way I can cope with a break 'when' we have another. There will need to be some compromises! 1279

More practise required today for sure. Glad damage is off for this one! 1280

Two 2nd place finishes makes it my best ever Tuesday round.
R1 the entire race 2 seconds behind Matthew. After my pit stop I was held up a little but still the gap was pretty much consistent. Hoped for a mistake from matthew but there was none. Race 2 grat got past me early on putting me in 3rd, but after a few laps seemed to spin off on the second to last corner but sounded like a game issue? After that it was very much like race 1 with a consistant 2 second gap behind matthew. I put it a few quick ones at the end closing the gap a little but not enough. Grat, were you running full race fuel? I saw plp say you refueled in race 1, and in race 2 you got past me pretty quick and were lapping much faster than I could with 19 laps of fuel. 1282

All my practise was based on 12 not 19.I think you're fine. The softs last easily 8 laps. Can do 9 or 10, but should start to be careful. Yeah will try and give them a quick test tomorrow on a longer stint. Havent tried the mediums at all. 1283

If you have nvidia you can use the recording tools in the geforce experience rather than fraps.

Just put this up on my server at Spa if anyone wants to give it a crack. I only tried a few laps but didn't manage to keep it on the track for any of them

Maybe the fastest drivers should run their own race going around the track the wrong way? It's then their responsibility to avoid oncoming traffic?

Initially i thought phils start delays seemed excessive but i did manage to catch up. First 10 laps were great putting in pb's and pulling away from phil which is always an achievement.
After traffic around lap 10 phil was fairly close and i saw him saw him pit behind me so i put my foot down to try and avoid an undercut to pit next lap. Was only as i was steaming down the final straight that i realised i was 100% sure where the pit entry started. By then i was carrying too mich speed and it was too late putting the car into a spin. When i finally got into the pits mael was in the pit box behind mine and not being able to see properly i missed my box. By that time the whole field had gone past again. Managed to make up a few more spots but could have been better. |
