0 practice laps (or qual laps) + 0 skill = 0 points. (no surprises there!)
I did enjoy the cars though and look forward to the next race.
Race 1 I also found a hole while off on the infield somewhere but got warped back the the pits and continued on.
Race 2 broke the cars whilst jumping it (not recommended in an F40)
Round one lesson then: Stay on the black bit, much safer than the alternatives.

I haven't been keeping up to date with the dlc for Assetto Corsa, but am prepared to purchase whatever is required for Thursday nights.
I'm with Imp here, I'll need to get the content also. So Porsche pack 3 is all we'll need for the whole season? Thanks

Lucky mine banner was missing, wouldn't wont anyone to associate that driving display with me

I think I might have to drop off Teamspeak just after race start as I'm finding it incredibly distracting listening to people changing gears and constantly breathing into their mics and starting to chatter before everybody has finished racing.
Agreed TS is just a hindrance atm. I keep dumping it

Sorry about my race start incident still had my foot on the clutch from the start and when i went for a little trail braking into the first kink, the car didn't slow much by standing on the clutch. Rookie mistake. Anyway had a lot of ground to make up after that but had a lot of good racin with Roo, AJ and Bruce. AJ putting the thumb screws on me all the way to the finish line.
So remember kids when trying to slow the car down the clutch pedal is not the most effective pedal at your disposal.

TS does destroy the immersion of a simulator. Obviously very useful to get everyone on the same page but less chatter would be better IMO. Sometimes I just ditch the headphones.
only problem I have is they are Porsche, i have no interest in Porsche and would never own one, The race ones look a bit more interesting.
Oh dear, I'm not a 911 guy either but I think you may have missed the point. You certainly missed that quirk of mind bending acceleration. They are able to use mental amounts of power which would have most other cars going up in a cloud of tire smoke. A Porsche chassis is very good at generating grip.
This may help you with the want. Should probably start watching at about 9 minutes in.

Jim may also have been talking down the car so people could appreciate its not all about the car.
Weissach rear axles have vastly improved many negative aspects of the rear end from 80's on I think.

Awh man, just spent the afternoon downloading AC updates and content for tonight. Then while online learning Oulton Park track server resets to another track I don't have
Kill me now please
The wife will most likely drive the car to join him for the lunch
Pillion pegs are already folded down on rear swingarm and ready to rock.
Probably no stand up wheelies while wifey on board thou!

Some great racing out the back too, once all those pesky fast guys got out of the way. Rob and I were having a great time in races 1 & 2. However seems like I was holding him as race 3 he got past early and just disappeared. Perhaps Rob preferred the lower grip and I got a little distracted watching Wally run off at the sweeper lap after lap
