Where's the extended version?
I think the issue is that there is virtually nothing that has been optimised for these news cards from the ground up. Personally, I don't care too much for ray tracing. I want to see pure grunt that will propel me through AC at 90 FPS using 180 degree 8K VR.
As a non-participating paticipant, I'd suggest having one-off ACC events on another night of the week to begin with. The game will be in it's infancy and will probably be lacking in a lot of features when it comes to Multiplayer.
Once it matures and gains popularity then I would suggest looking at a straw poll aound a championship to decide whether you treat it as a separate game and run it on another night of the week, or whether to alternate during the week.
As above, the issue will be dividing an already smallish community between two championships, yet those that will be paticipating in just one of the series may not like the idea of only racing every 2 or 3 weeks if you altenate between series each week.
If I was racing (hopefully not too far off!) I'd want to be all in with a series or not at all, so to commit to a particular series and only race in it a couple of times a month wouldn't fit with my "mentality", but that is just me. I hope that makes sense.
Looks good. Although there didn't seem to be much of a difference in grip between the dry line and the wet line - but only so much you can tell from that kind of footage.

Good move for the next two years, but not a great move if he plans on getting into a top team after that. Hard to get noticed when you are getting lapped by 6 other cars.
I guess after being on the equivalent of an F1 drivers pittance at RBR he is entitled to feather his nest.
I don't understand the bit about 'bumpstops'. Does it mean something else in Italian?
They are as they sound. Think of them as an extra set of firm mini springs right at the end of travel of the regular springs to stop a car bottoming out. This way you could have softer springs or lower ride height without bottoming out and spinning off across the curbs.
I'm pretty sure AC has these in the more complex cars setup wise.
I think the variable rate part refers to how stiff they are based on compression rate of the spring. Same of the absorbers.
The Pixma 8k looks good though for the next step
This is what I am waiting for. When/if it is as good as it has the potential to be I will be rebuilding my comp, getting a new wheel and jumping back in.

Yeah, I know what you mean. The GT cars are a very "safe" point and shoot car without much character compared to the others. I think they are popular because amateurs feel like they can drive something quickly without getting in too much trouble.
Part of the fun in driving something stupidly over powered and under gripped like earlier F1 cars or something that lurches around because it wasn't really designed as a race car first, like a big BMW, is taming the beast.
I'm more interested in following how ACC pans out in the hope of what it could mean for a full blown AC2. I just wonder whether releasing one make series is a lot easier and more profitable rather than having to adjust models for many different cars with each update and fight the threat of legal action for various un licensed mods being released, etc.
However, if Kunus were planning in releasing many different one make series games you would think they would include the name of the series in the title to avoid confusion for consumers...
