Regarding the object positioning, I've changed mine twice now and it works the first time then changes back to normal. Anybody got any ideas why this might the case and/or how to stop it from changing back?Have you read the manual?
Try putting FORM_ALIGNMENT_V and FORM_ALIGNMENT_H back to 1. Save file while out of AC completely. Start AC again. Screen should be in default position. Then exit AC completely again. Then set back to 2. Might get it it reset correctly.
Otherwise it could be the OBJECT_POS numbers you have are wrong. When I had an incorrect value for OBJECT_POS it just disappeared completely.

You obviously read the manual @WallyThe X axis works fine but no matter what figure I put in, it wouldn't move in the Y axis.

It may be worth considering Mid Ohio. Mod looks pretty good and the track is fun.
I think it was not a mistake to call him in before vettel. What i am saying is that they should have checked the possible traffic and if hamilton would re-enter behind a hard bone to chew like Verstappen,,,thats allAgreed. That was the mistake but not sure how they could have avoided that - they were under pressure AND Ferrari didn't panic like last year and follow them in - shows they are confident in their car.
Looking good for the season with Ferrari competitive. Hope Redbull can improve.
Crucial moment when the Mercedes called Hamilton in first, they made a huge mistake and watching Mr Wolff punching the table in despair was gratifying..............Not sure it was a mistake. What do you think? Hamilton's comment on the podium was very frank (and honest I think) that he had to come in for tires. Makes you think that they felt Vettel would eventually overtake on track due to tires.
I wouldn't blame Australia for this. It's really an F1 (Bernie) problem. It's only on Pay TV nearly everywhere to my knowledge. Hope that the new owners will fix this. Basically Bernie's attitude was that he was only interested in fans who could afford or were willing to pay for a Rolex.

I hadn't realised that. Is it drivers in exact same cars?I think one big difference with ballast in a sim versus in real life is that in the sim we are applying the ballast to the driver whereas in real life the ballast is applied to the car. Typically, in a real life series a car is quicker because the car has a BOP advantage which the ballast corrects. Some series like the BTCC also apply a success ballast to individual drivers.

As someone who rarely, if ever, gets ballast applied I still dislike it in any form. Drivers who have ballast drive differently and more desperately and are basically mobile hazards. They are typically faster drivers who resent being 'back in the pack' and will do anything to improve their position. They brake at different points, slide through corners erratically, bitch and moan on TS etc etc.
I say let the fast guys get bored out front if they wish. If they are bored then perhaps they can slow down a bit
Given Phil's penchant for changing rules every week perhaps we could do a short season called "PHIL'S MAGICAL MYSTERY TOUR". A different, surprise combo each week. From a shortlist of cars of a 'certain vintage'.
They work well. Could be a cable issue. Have you got surround sound configured correctly? I set the speakers to "small". I have Realtek control panel. How are you going with those speakers? When they work, all is good, but occasionally one of the speakers (usually the centre) stops working and I have to jiggle/replug the speakers into the sub.I just use an extremely cheap $1 headphone/mic set from msy, but only for speaking on, the audio comes from my Logitech speakers.Same as me but I obviously overpaid for my headset @ $14 on eBay. It IS a Plantronics though!!

Got the same Logitech speakers. I think the ones Wally recommended a few years ago

@phil.8 and @wally is this parameter that has been added in 1.12.1 what is causing us to sit in pits between sessions?
- Added IGNORE_RESULT_TELEPORT in system/cfg/options.ini to avoid teleport to pit at the end of each online session
yeah that is pretty messed up , lord Kunos is going power crazy or his money lust has made him delusional or something, sorta worried about AC and wish there was an alternative, that was more polished, cause sorta losing interest in AC ,all we get is new cars, which i wouldn't have driven 80% of and the odd track.Yes Phil...
