Thanks. It's gotta be the boost. Off the line I control revs and also use clutch to control the launch but I am occasionally snapping sideways after I change to 2nd. So reducing boost will make that more manageable. Now to map the boost buttons to the steering wheel...

Have to be a member to get the track. :( :(
Member of what !!!

Could we consider doing a rolling start? I am finding that if I make a very small error when launching I end up snapping sideways into the wall. I can live with the consequences of my own mistake but it will potentially ruin other's race.

PS. I think I know what the qual range will be - 1:04 to 1:09  :'(

From Aris:

"Now we have 2 BOP options. One is the usual ballast. The other one is engine restrictor. It realistically simulates an intake restrictor, giving less torque/horsepower at higher revs"

We are due for a Cobra season. It is the 'Cobra Cup' after all!!

Having said that there are a couple of other Kunos cars that suit spirit of Thursdays - Alfa GTA, Lambo Muira - plus a couple of modern cars that don't get much running but produce very good racing - BMW M235i and Alfa 4C.

8) Results :P
well done everyone

Looks like UnFknBLievable is going to win another championship
Time to change the rules then :D

Got them detected after re-flashing the firmware, but I've only gone and pinched and sheared the brake cable when attaching the pedal to the base, haven't I. Fark. Off to Fanatec support I go...
bloody hell!

I have these pedals but I can't get them to be recognised by Windows (10)! I've tried plugging them into different ports, but no go.
Did you install the driver?

For me they then showed in my Logitech wheel control panel.

Also running a seperate "event" purposefully clashing with a Tuesday fun run I think was great form so well done on that.
Not wanting to wade into the other discussion but I would like to set the record straight re Tuesday fun run. I asked if Phil could put the Skip Biber up for a bit of a run for myself and any others unable to do the Nords run. I basically struggle to last 30 minutes or so at the present so the Nords enduro wasn't possible. I deliberately left it to the last minute to suggest so as not to have it seem like an alternate event to the Nords run. I think the Nords event got a good turn out and a very good completion rate for such an event.

Just wanted to make sure that Wally understood that no offence intended.

So long as you call this race "Pussy Run" :)

I think drivers will need to post a photo of injuries to qualify for pussy run ;)

Phil, do you think it would be ok now to add a few Skip Barbers back in the server? Would be good if a few people want to do some open wheeler runs tomorrow night?

You should offer your services to the people doing the DRM Revival Mod , we could then be using the mod next week, rather than next year. 8)
