Hadn't really done much practice or work on a set-up, spent most of my spare time in acc trying out the new cars with the new wheel.
R1 trying to make sure I leave plenty of room I clipped the rail coming on to main straight, bent steering, lapping rest of the race with blue after pit. Last
R2 at one point t-boned a spinner and had a drivable but slow car
R3 same as r2, bit of battling though which was cool. Had an unexpected tank slapper on the last lap which caught out some behind me, slowed on finish to let them all go by.
New wheel is good even on the old cars, although it just doesn't seem right racing an old f1 with an ultra modern rim.
1809 and now 1903. you can manually install from the web page or create a usb installer https://www.microsoft.com/en-au/software-download/windows10
You may have noticed me disappearing from the battlefield, I manually installed 1903 but I think the issue was related to my network driver, possibly fixed now though after reinstall and reinstall and reinstall (mobo uses killer network not intel).
1809 was pulled by ms initially, released later after bug fixes. 1903 is said to be slow release via update or manually installed. Two pc's I have updated without issue and two others (with asus mobos) bork every time I try the upgrade. I suspect an incompatible hardware driver causing this since I had similar problems going to 1809.
With only a small amount of time on this wheel today, I think the smaller diameter makes it easier to drive/react, I'm going leave it on for a while but I think it's a yes for the F1 rim.
Plus it has more buttons and switches.

Oh I didn't know that, fair enoughbut making a rule or whatever to say don't go back on the racing line after passing is nonsensical at least in comparison to real world racing.Except the FIA have a rule of leaving a car width if you go back to the outside, and no changing lines in the braking zone, because even F1 drivers have issues with it.
