Thanks guys, great racing.

R1 was awesome fun trying to catch Wally.

Unfortunately fps for R2 was just a slideshow for me, and impossible to drive. I tried pitting and getting away from traffic but that was not the problem.

Boo, I was really looking forward to the second race.

Congratulations Bacchulum, you were the Kcender of the Formula Ford ;D. Great selection of tracks too thanks Phil. Fof me one of the most enjoyable seasons :).

Mixed night for me.

The Cooper was always a bad choice, but I worked out a nice stable setup and thought if I could keep it clean I might pick up a point or 2.

R1: Started last, finished 14th, nice clean race, good fun.

R2: All good until someone decided that the Stadium Section was a good place to try and pass. Bumped wheels several times and ended up with some damage which left my lap times a bit down from my usual pedestrian pace. Filtered back to finished near last.

R3: Taken out twice in the first few laps. The Cooper being comparatively slow meant that there is no catching up and I was going to spend the next 10 laps hot-lapping by myself. Decided to have an early night.

way to fast for me

Now, there's something you don't see every day.  ;)

Hi GB, welcome back.

Don't give up on RD just yet, I find that WHEN I d/l sometimes makes a big diff in d/l speed with RD. Try a different time of day and see if that helps.

OOps, Double post  :-[

Yeah I realize that Dave, but it is still sacrilege to do that to one of the most beautiful cars ever made.

I guess they converted back to original after filming. But it had been abused, molested and sullied and never felt good about itself afterwards. ;)

I remember seeing a behind the scenes type thing on the making of Grand Prix and how they butchered up a Ford GT40 with cameras to get most of those shots.

Sacrilege. lol.

Thanks Dave and Phil, all (setup) donations greatly appreciated.

I might not end up using the setups of others but I usually find something in each one that I can use. Be it gear ratios, ride height, camber etc. I am a bit of a numpty when it comes to setups.

Thanks Dave, I think I'm going to need all the help I can get.

Hey Dennis,

While in the game press Esc  ->View Settings.

All the in-car adjustments can be made there.

Well done Wally, 1,156 for me.

Its been several months and many updates since I've played ACC, I must say it has improved 1,000% from the early days.

Looks like I might have to get behind the wheel a bit more often. Although I dearly miss any kind of Real Head Movement/look to apex feature.

Bacchulum poster his setups a couple of posts up.

Rob missed the apex and drove into the side of Killagorilla spinning him - $300 penalty.

Sorry Killa, I miss judged the corner and missed the apex, and couldn't hold a tight enough line. Apologies mate.

I'll be out again Wally.

The PC clock was resetting every time I started the PC so I thought that's an easy fix, I'll just replace the CMOS battery. Now the PC won't boot at all, just stalls at the Windows Logo.

I didn't realize when I got into SIM racing that they also simulated the frustration of real racing!! Bah!
