Race 1 was good, the only type of race where I don't want a close battle, leading.
(I'm sure Bruce would agree )
Race 2 was a very intense battle with Wally and Tim the whole race, just breaching the limit on the last lap.
(I got a get-out-of-jail-free card there, my tyres were baked!)
Race 3 started unfortunately, it was only the slightest of taps Wally but it was when I was right on the limit, so bad timing more than anything.
I ended up having a race long battle with Jamie, managed to get up the inside a few times but never seemed to have the punch to get on to the next straight.
(All this only made possible by some mistakes from Jamie, he was ultimately quicker than me )
I'm kind of surprised it was my best round, this car handles nothing like an MP4-12c GT3.........
The #37 Aleph Null Ltd XXXX McLaren MP4-12c GT3:
(looks like a cat ran on the keyboard..... )
Three awesome races.
Race 1 chased Glen all the way but just couldn't find a way past.
Race 2 " Tim " " " " "
Race 3 " Dave " " " " "
I never got on top of the track, as shown by my shedding of ballast through out the night, but damn, it was still fun!
There's also some videos featuring Enrique Scalabroni, who does some amazing freehand technical drawings explaining the engineering design tricks.
Currently there's a 4 part series on McLarens "bell" rear suspension, which, I now see, is very ingenious.
A hint there might be a series explaining Williams' solution to the loss of the beam wing, which I look forward to....
Also note the top pic on the site, showing Jim Clark in a Red Bull!!

I watched the final 3 hours on SBS.
There will also be a 1 hour highlights show on the 23rd, also on SBS.
This is a great show by Peter Windsor about all things F1, past and present.
Low budget but some very knowledgable guests such as Craig Scarborough (technical) and Rob Wilson (driver coach).
Feeds and audio quality sometimes 'vary' but it has improved since F1Racing mag came on board.
It makes a nice change from the commercial point of view.
Couple of shout-outs:
Glen in race 1, sorry I ended the battle a lap and a half short, my bad.
Glen (again) & Liam in race 2 (first half), some good back and forth until 'the seas parted'.
Liam (again) & Tim in race 3, a fantastic couple of opening laps.
Now I have to brush up on my Flemish....
