We cannot forget the Group 5 mod  :'( :'(

will also run that for a fun run and then we will have tested a decent amount to get a gauge of what everyone likes

I will also see run anything Seanus would like tested one night

 ;D ;D ;D ;) The Group 5 Mod is one of mine!  ;) ;D ;D ;D

I am working out one or 2 more fun run format weeks and was wondering where the link to this is and how big is it, if its too big for my crappy mobile data at the moment I will run it week after next and do something next week that requires no download.

Presuming it is too big for me to download does anyone have any requests of something kunos or something I am likely to have

I will try tomorrow using my phone for data, not sure how it will go as I live in a place where mobile reception is crap, But I have been getting pings and speeds at least as good as my normal nbn internet and sometimes a bit better, but it does not seem as stable and anything that happens on my pc in the background causes big lag and have been getting random ping hikes, so be sure to let me know if I am warping about :)
I heard an ad on the radio yesterday, telstra have an nbn modem that has a back up mobile connection built-in, might be worth hitting them up for freebie if your main connection is still down.

Thanks, I will look into that for sure

My problem is and keep in mind I am only 15 mins from Tassies capital, is that our mobile coverage only works inside if I have my phone near only one window of our house, otherwise its 0 bars inside and only 1 or 2 outside
Hit them up for a booster, put the pressure on remind them you're a loyal customer

Or buy one?

We use older versions at work and they work well

Does any smart person know if I can use an Ethernet cable to plug my laptop which I am hotspotting to my phone into my pc so I can use my PC or is it easier to just buy a wireless adapter ?

AFAIK you can't just connect 2 computers with an ethernet cable - it requires different wiring, called a crossover cable.   You'd need a switch in between, otherwise.
I do not know how well the network sharing would work, never tried to set this kind up before, sorry.

Yes your right, you'll need a crossover cable. Basically the same cable but the wires are in a different order. If you don't have the crossover, then you can do it with a switch in between. You would need to share the connection on the laptop (Which I think enables ip forwarding for that connection in Windows) and you'll need to manually setup your connection on your PC to point the gateway to the laptop, whilst having both computers on the same subnet obviously.

Wouldn't it just be easier for you to plug the phone into USB and have that tethered straight to the racing PC?

It would if I didnt have a pixel2 which is usb c both ends, I will buy a cable or a cheap adapter tomorrow

Last night in the once in a lifetime storm in Tassie we got 180mm of rain overnight at our place and our wireless nbn antenna got hit by lightning and fried my nbn box, so I will not be online for a while and thus cannot update the server for next week.  No idea when I will be fixed.

We also have a lot of other damage,  driveway washed away, fences down, collapsed banks, bit of flooding inside  and god knows what else I am going to find :-[
