I didn't notice any issues with the audio?
To the earlier post, I'd also recommend an SSD as your first upgrade. I've used Samsung 830 and 840 in a couple of computers and they have very fast read times (what you want for gaming) without any issues. Samsung is also one of the few product suppliers that make the whole thing themselves which gives me a bit more confidence, and they aren't overly expensive like Intel. Well, not when I last checked anyway.

Thanks for setting this up Wally. Had a great time with you lot and some good racing.

Just to clarify, and sorry if it's been mentioned, but are the two races back-to-back, with the grid line-up for the second the finishing order of the first?
Or is there a practice/qualifying session before each race?
I'm up for anything really.
Can I suggest though, if the interest is there, that you run a "tin-top" series and an open-wheel series concurrently. You could do tin-tops Tuesday nights and open-wheelers Wednesday nights, or similar. That way you would cater for drivers of varying interests across what AC offers.
Just a thought.
Well, the dilemma for me is whether to introduce myself as my real name, my nickname, my gaming alias or what I want to be called. So I'll do all of them - Justin, Juz, Guybrush, and... Hyper Igniter Machismo Love Machine
31, girlfriend + son. Manage a disability employment program covering pretty much everywhere north and west of Melbourne to the Victorian border. Haven't done much online racing - dabbled with rFactor and the V8 mod years ago which was fun but then went on hiatus before building a PC about 18 months ago just in time for the release of AC...
Religiously watch F1 and play cricket. Loving Dan Ricciardo this year!
Look forward to racing everyone and I hope to race hard but clean - if I can keep up!
PS... For me Ferrari handles like a cake of soap on a wet road so I'm not too upset I'm missing out on some frustration.
It's on rails compared to the Mclacca!
quoted long ad...
If you are going to advertise on an Australian / New Zealand forum, at least use the equivalent currency and tell us where the servers are located.
Thought I'd share some of my setups via Dropbox:
I've created links to my AC folder so if I make a change down the track the setup in Dropbox should also change.
There's only a few that I wouldn't go back and fine-tune too much. Most though are just what I've created in the 10 minutes or so of practice/qualifying when the cars and tracks come up in MP.
The Formula Abarth @ Monza is one that works particularly well for me and I spent a bit of time on.
I'm new to setups so I'm sure there are some other changes that could be made (there are a few settings I don't touch) but I hope it helps.
The most sincere form of flattery!Ok, Guybrush, I've added you, but gosh; the search for you name returned close to 500 hits!
Yeah, unfortunately I don't think it's me they are trying to copy!

Well, they are all unoriginal copy-cats then.
Is there an easier way to find people? You'd think there would be a unique code or something for each Steam account.

Oops, must have missed that in my excrement of the moment. Thanks.
I'm under Guybrush Threepwood.
Yep, there are about 10 people on Steam with Ysu in their name and none of them look to have played AC? Maybe I'm doing it wrong...
