Australian Assetto Corsa League, Tuesday nights / Re: S31R8 - Suzuka

man im finding it tough to get a solid setup around this track.  even default is feeling rough.  anyone got one they want to share? :D

Hey Dave, this is the LHD Supercup setup I have used for all tracks. I aim for my setups to be stable but not particularly fast. Keep in mind I know nothing about car setups and I am one of the slower drivers, so try it at your own risk.

The only advice I can give is not to NOT push too hard while the tyres are cold (about the first 2 laps) once warm you can push quite hard, and there is no need to rev much past 5,000rpm. Don't bother going into the red zone. I can't use the car at Suzuka so I have only done a few laps but I got into the 2:12's, which is way off Mael's pace.

Hope this helps

Rob's snuck back into the top 8, so he's lost the Supercup.

Noooooo!!  :'(

Oh well, it was awesome fun while it lasted, back to the back of the field for me.  :)

Look after yourself and get better Dave.

Hey Wally, either one sounds good to me but if we go Option B could you please include the Hilman, that is so much fun to drive.

That sounds promising Dave. Hopefully you have found the problem and well on the way back to the race track.

Thursday Nights fun racing / Re: S19 R5 - VĂ„lerbanen - 05/12/2019

Hey Phil, after lasts Thursday's effort I might give the rest of the Season a miss.  :(

Hey Wally, I might have to give this one a miss. I only have 2 buttons on my wheel and they are both already mapped so I'll be running without DRS, and I'm too slow already. lol.

Sorry I bailed last night guys, off the pace, solo hotlapping and back spasms didn't add up to a very enjoyable night.

Hey Dave, I'm on Brisbane's Southside, but if there's anything I can do to help, just let me know.

Hey Dave, look after yourself and get better. Tue and Thur nights aren't the same without you mate.

Hope you are OK Dave.

If its any consolation I had quite a few bad turns last night as well, in both races. ;)

But seriously, I hope all is OK.

Thanks Cap, Denis and Wally, I'll try those settings tonight and see how I go.

Hey Guys, I asked this over Discord the other night, but now I'm going to make it official.

Does anybody know how to turn off the darn headlights on the Nissan? I use CM and have the Shader Patch installed, but being a bit of a Luddite I can't for the life of me see how to disable those annoying lights.

Race2: I was having fun till I spun coming off a slow corner, then did it again for a few laps....and on the way collected poor Rob after losing it, and had a stinker. I'm very  sorry Rob.  Then I quit after a few more spins. Hopefully I be able to get some more practice before the next round, and can keep it on the track.

Hey Doobs, don't worry about it, I don't take racing too seriously. I usually finish about last anyway, so no big deal.
