do you have your windows key or have it tied to a Microshaft account?

Can't really remember but I'm not changing HDDs so not a problem
Usually with a mobo swap windows will need to be reactivated, so just punch the code again or if you've logged in to a Microshaft account it should be ok.

Ah okay. Pretty sure I have the code in my email somewhere.
I've used jelly bean key finder before and works ok https://www.techadvisor.co.uk/how-to/windows/find-windows-10-product-key-3632749/

I have a windows 8 key in my email from when I bought it so should be all good. heading home from work now looking forward to finishing off the build once the kids are in bed!

I'm following in your footsteps.... Happy Xmas/early Birthday too meeee!

I ordered a bundle from PC Case Gear: 8700k + ASUS ROG Z370-G Mobo and 16GB of 3000MHz Team T-Force Delta. I then also got an ex-mined Gigabyte 1070 on eBay for $360 (assuming ex-mined due to the fact the guy was selling 20 of them)

5Ghz @ 1.3v seems pretty good. I'm hoping I can get away with that too with air cooling. I have a Kraken x52 cooler.

My justification for such a big upgrade is that I have now upgraded everything and have a second system that'll I'll look to sell to cover some of the cost.

Best race of the season for me with just a couple of small mistakes. A lot of the race was on and off batting with Freezer which was good fun. Mediums were a bad choice and were going off after 15 mins leading to my first off track adventure, so I changed to hards for the rest of the race which was a better choice.

Was no real way to do much against the long trails or C9s here; they were so much faster on the straight then when you catch them in the windy bits there is no safe place to pass, especially in the Mazda which is pretty twitchy in the slow corners itself.

23
where did that 30.1 come from Phil :o

24
Think the short tails have the advantage over the Mazda now as they're much faster through the corners and are hitting the same top speed. Freezers first sector is a lot faster than mine and I'm flat for the majority of it.
And about time the shorty's were faster . . . but don't forget our mega pit stop!

ah this is true. my best is about 0.5 secs slower than you which I'm sure I could improve on slightly

25
I reckon I could get in the 1:30s in the Mazda if I could do that damn corner onto the back straight better. Any time I try to go any faster I end up in the sand.

I use this filter in Content Manager, !xgn.in.th XGN.

Not using Content Manager is like using 14.4k dial up to access the internet!  :o
I rather think about it like managing a linux server without a graphical interface :)

Using bash instead of source tree.. stupid fucking source tree.. bash ftw
The post was about the AC Launcher NOT the Content manager. No need to confuse things by stating the obvious. I also use Content Manager but this is a good trick to improve the standard launcher for those who use it.
Good point. I'm sure talking about linux and GIT makes perfect sense here though?

poor race for me after qualifying 3rd.

sounds like Jeremy warped into me which makes sense from what happened but that put me back in 10th. had a few good laps with bird and Phil  until around the 20 min mark where I put a tyre on the grass on the final turn which always means hitting that wall.

car was damaged from the warp but after the crash was pretty wrecked so I pitted and fixed the damage.

around 35 mins I spun on my own and hit a wall causing big damage again so decided to make a second stop.

after that was a lap down on most people. Wally was nice enough to let me unlap myself but I think he was more worried about me ramming into the back of him as was I  ;D

If you're doing 15s Phil, I DO need your setup!

Damn... I wanted to practice last night but I decided to watch the F1 first but fell asleep watching it at 9.15pm  :-\

I honestly doubt I'll finish this race in one piece.

Ditto. I'll definitely be lifting a lot more when it comes to the race. In the hour of practice last night I don't think I went more than 3 laps without wrecking.
