Hmm usually I cant really go as it's always my daughters birthday weekend but if they change the date maybe I can!

Here we go,extract that to the track folder and overwrite collision.kn5

Can't swear I got it all as culling the faces needed was a bit tricky. Quick test was all good so see how we go.

 :) ;) :D
Thanks, added to first post.

Out of interest do those kind of modifications cause a checksum if not also on the server?

Qualified 4th with my 30kg ballast so was happy with that.

Race 1 on lap 2 I came off; I put a rear tyre on the grass on that big sweeping right before the back straight starts (I suck with names). Got really loose and I knew Freezer was close behind and didn't want to take him out so pulled onto the grass on the other side of the track to try and let him get by not know that lead into a ditch and a wall which I t-boned the wrecked the car. Back to the pits and a 40 second penalty and came out just in front on kcender a lap down. Let him by, then a little later let GB by. Bacculum was the a little way back and wasn't really gaining much but I'd hate to have spun a lap down and ruin his race so I pulled over on one of the straight to let him by. After that I kept in that spot not far behind Bacculum until the end of the race. Think without my wreck that's likely where I would have finished.

Race 2 was much better. Picked up a little damage with the pileup at the start but then slipped through in 5th I think. Was chasing AGK and killa for a while until AGK made a pass on killa. A couple of laps later I passed killa at the same spot. Then the chase was on with AGK; he was 2.8 seconds ahead and was chipping away at it lap by lap. Bacculum then fell off getting promoted into 3rd, then kcender did the same thing and was up into 2nd. By the final lap was right on AGKs tail and we went around la source nearly side by side. I got really sloppy on exit and I think had I not it would have been possible to have got him on the line. Great chase though AGK and great consistency.

I've put a setup for the Ferrari on ptracker.

Wally, were you aware that tyre blankets are on?  Not sure if this is the case on race night, but in these cars it actually makes them more dangerous during the first lap as the tyres are way over pressure, especially the rears which slide a lot.

When the pressures are low (cold) they tend toward understeer.
Can you or anyone else tell me what to do in order to have a look at this setup?

Open ptracker and go to the setups tab and it should be listed there.

Bahaha I did exactly the same thing to bird on my first ever xgn race

I think it's important to remember that at the of the day what we do is really just a game based around a common interest. For me it's something to enjoy in my downtime to relax a bit and take me away from busy real life shit. The level of aggression and attitudes on the forum and voice chat do sometimes really make it a much less enjoyable environment and experience. We're all human and make mistakes, we're doing the best we can, as is Wally who has to manage this large group of people. Sure I want to understand racing and race etiquette and become better at it, so discussion is always good, but let's just be nice about it  8)

I have decided to wait for the Ryzen 3000 before upgrading.

Just make sure you remember all the RGB lighting when you do  ;D

Made it to T9, was well inside Joe leaving plenty of room, got ploughed into.

I think I remember this but thought it was Seanus. The car got squirrelly on exit when I put the power down and lost some traction and it moved slightly over to the right. Sorry but had every intention of giving room and there wasn't much I could do; 'ploughed into' doesn't really describe what happened IMO.

I had good pace tonight qualifying 3rd but a few minor mistakes lost quite a few positions.

R1 tapping gb through t1/t2 turned me around and lost 10 or so places. Sorry if anyone else was caught up in that.

R2 was pretty decent I think I came 6th chasing bacculum at the end for a photo finish.

R3 I ran into bacculum. Not quite sure how it happened but he seemed to slow more than i expected in front of me and I was already back on the power and couldn't do much. That lost me a few positions then a  bit later fighting with Mael I caught the grass on the I inside of the final turn pushing me out and into the wall.

Awesome racing all round though.

Pccg do some mobo/CPU combos. Saving isnt huge but better than not. That's what I did when I got my 8700k.

Also Roo, GLQuake!!! I was in a Quake 1 clan and still remember the day I went and got my 4mb voodoo1 3dfx card and launched GLQuake and got transparent water. Was magical.

I upgraded from an i5 6500 to an i7 8700k and got a 30-40 fps increase depending on game. I then replaced the 970 with a used 1070 which gave me more then double the fps of the previous build

CPU can make a surprising difference on fps more than I ever realized.

So what's happening to the 1080ti ?  ;)
