Does anyone have a link to a released version of Tailem Bend (international Configuration ideally).  I have a track day over there in a few months and need to know which is left and which is right  ???
The author of the track actually raced with us a bit here. GT Virus. Shaun someone? I think he said he couldn't release the track due to commercial reasons.

I'm going to see a round of the Shannon's Nationals there next month.

It's not an easy track (caution, turn the sound down first, lest your brain be fried by the soundtrack).

But here's how it should be done (in the wet, no less):

Yes, it's going to be a difficult round. I like to have one challenging track in the season, where you'll have to be more cautious than normal. It's all part of mixing things up and it's a chance to reward drivers for other skills rather than speed. Someone's going to win each of the three races!

But I did turn damage down to 10% for this one, as like Joe said, there are some weird impacts with hay bales that suddenly destroy your engine.

Race 1, I clipped the barrier on the opening lap and spun, but could keep going with no damage. But then had fun racing with Rob and Able.
Race 2 was a disaster. I got tapped off at parabolica, then got aught in Bird's crash, with heavy steering damage. I thought I might be able to keep driving, but it was too wobbly in the corners, so I pitted for repairs. Then, on my outlap from the stop, I was letting a lapping car past by staying low on the banking, but they drifted down into me and spun me again. Not a great race, but strangely I had the most consistent lap times.
Race 3 was excellent - great drafting, swapping with AbleArcher many times, with Phil and Seanus nearby. A lot of fun. Later in the race, Seanus and Able were able to draft past me, but then had a coming together which I could see coming and avoided, gifting me 2 places. I finished 5th, which was my best result so far.

3 x 13 laps. Weather forecast is 17, 20 and 19 degrees, light winds.

This track has 24 pit boxes, so I'll be dropping Grat, Gratulin and JamieP.

Results are up.

Wally, I ran into Joe during qualifying and feel I deserve a penalty for next race.
That would set a dangerous precedent! Application for penalty denied.

Server's up.

Good one Wally, good experience?
Yeah, it was great fun, certainly to experience the massive grip and stopping power. The gearbox was sh*t though, quite hard to find the sloppy feeling gears.

cool, will be interesting to see if you think the tracks similar
The layout is certainly good. I remember a bigger bump near the start line, and the track surrounds are a little bit off, but overall it's pretty good.

I think its been suggested before Wally, but an occasional ACC race to coincide with the real Blancpain Season and perhaps some of the Aussie GT3 Season too?
Yes, it has, but I don't necessarily want a random ACC race to pop up in the middle of an AC season either. I think just having an enduro (or sprint round and enduro round) between AC seasons will give a similar result.

Maybe you could run two series sort of parallel...I mean on a 2-week interval...one week AC, next ACC and so on. Just an idea...if others like it as well.
I'd prefer not to have too much chopping and changing. I'm just gathering people's thoughts, but at this stage I'm leaning towards an enduro round in between AC seasons.

I won't make it at all tonight. :'(
Woke up fine, by midday could hardly breathe, Dr's confirmed a chest infection.
At least it's not pneumonia (yet). :-X
I hope you feel better soon.

My problem is that it's a niche segment game, and quite closed/restricted, but without a subscription model.
Result: it'll die sooner rather than later; people can't be arsed to race the same handful of tracks/cars all the time, and they won't be able to generate much new content because of the payment model.

Therefore I do not want to invest in it.  I reckon kunos got sidetracked here - or maybe he just wanted to test some new engines on the way to the new nkp/ac game.
I think you're right there. But they did do a poll a while back, about what racing series and what features do you want? Guess what won... GT3, and night and rain please.
