Can't see how its hard to press play in Steam.
I did that for a year and wasted six months waiting for it to finish loading and the other six months trying to close the thing!
Literally, you can start, close and reopen CM twenty times in the time it takes the Kunos launcher to start and close.
The other reasons for using CM are manifold and overwhelm any problems with using it by orders of magnitude.

...(note the underscore/dash difference)....
I did that, because p/stracker doesn't like the dash.

I just don't use CM, because from what I can tell nearly every problem with people having trouble with cars or tracks is caused by CM or the shader patch thing
It wouldn't matter if CM raped me burnt my house down and framed me for murder, it would still be better than using the Kunos launcher.

Had to disable shader patch and it now works....
Try: Settings\Custom Shaders Patch\Tracks Configs...Install all entries...then disable 'Install automatically'*
Same for: Settings\Custom Shaders Patch\Tracks VAO
*Disable 'Install automatically' for all the entries underneath 'Patch'

Caused by the suspension turning inside out, which happens if it experiences a big enough hit and the bump stops aren't able to keep up.
The Ferrari uses animated suspension so you don't get to see when the suspension is broken.
Crashes at Imola caused this and at Pau the whole track is made of misaligned planes, which when encountered cause violent changes in the physics.
This should be fixable with tweaks to the suspensions.ini file.

You can find two derivations of that track on my blog.

...., then tried to pull back onto the track and it just went into a crazy spin until the right rear went.
This seemed to happen to some peeps at Imola too. I haven't had it happen to me and I can't think of what is causing it. You're in the Ferrari Joe? Has it only happened to members in this car?
What is the track's folder name on the server?
Because CM says track missing 'sandown' which means it is looking for a folder called 'sandown'.
I changed my folder name to 'sandown' and sure enough CM could see it however I could not join as that name no longer matches the content in said folder.
The correct folder name should be 'akv8_sandown'
Interesting. The ONLY difference between the RX-3 and Escort is 4 gears, 5cm narrower and 10cm shorter with inertia to match. Pretty cool that the differences can be felt. Though it makes it bloody hard to calculate BOP.
