First race was
Unbelievable as I
Couldn't calm down after a restart was
Knocked on the head.
Took my damaged car to the pits,
I couldn't regain my composure as I was
Still completely flummoxed.
Seven eighths of the field crashed or had to avoid what
Happened on that straight.
I went on to set a record number of

Truth is, I didn't think there was a second race. Looked at the clock and it was past 9:30 so had my doubts but, was sick of lapping Brands anyway, after too much practice, so just let it slide.

really enjoyed myself this round.
I stuck to the right down that straight and waited until my tangent lined up with the spectators on the left.
At one stage I counted two whole seconds between other competitors and my brake point.

Completely surprised by my Pole, I hadn't really practised here. Seems the 908 lacks power but its lightweight lets it rocket out of the corners. Race one was straight forward, as long as I didn't lose concentration, the one or two times I did I was lucky enough to learn how late I really could brake into some corners.
Race two, starting last all was going fine until 'humper' took me out going into the Stadium, which at the time I wasn't too concerned with. However after watching the replay I realised I was already in third and would have easily won the race, so now I'm super pissed.
Kept going knocking out 2:01s and after Wally held up Bacchulum I only just missed the podium by 45 thousands of a second.

...the light flickering through the trees at speed is a bit too much for me.
...someone turning on/off a flashlight each side of you constantly. Even my eyes don't appreciate it...
Try offline with the time set to 12:00 hrs and weather set to heavy clouds. If this works for you guys we could do likewise on the server.

Three into one don't go sent me to back of the field at the start, so after having to qualify three times I was pretty pissed right from the get go. I calmed down and found my self in a pack of Porsches and things were looking up, as the 908 was alot slower than the other two I thought a bunch of us circulating together would make for a fun race. Not to be though as three of said Porsches ended up in the sand! So now I'm fuming, so close to rage quitting but, carry on. Went on to battle Joe but couldn't fathom why he couldn't pass me as I really wanted a tow to see if I could set a record lap time. I was double pissed when he sent me off, one from disappointment and two as I saw him coming but couldn't react quick enough to get out of the way. Found reverse in the spin and flew backwards between the Lesmos into a J-turn, sweet! After three Qualys my pit box had moved and I overshot it backwards and had to drive the wrong way out of pitlane to spin around and come back in, which actually worked although at the time I thought I had been shafted as there seemed to be no indication that refueling is happening? To add insult to injury the Porsche's fuel use is bugged,(100 litres per 100km ffs) so the pit stop took forever. So race ruined I continued on, getting tired, made two mistakes at that damnable Lesmo 2, had a quick giggle when Joe binned it late in the race and came home god knows where.
Water bridge much, apologies have been given and taken, Most disappointing is that I felt a really top race was on the cards but, there's always next week.
Nothing to be proud off, if the creators do not get paid we soon run out of creators !!!!!!!!
Now let's not get into an argument over Imaginary property, I don't seem to be gaining traction with my one over 'Track Limits'. Suffice it to say 'If it's copyable it's copyable'

...have had some good racing at probably all the corners you hate....
Not quite, my under over defense with you at said chicane was one of the highlights of my race.

...Some chicanes are world famous corners think Eau Rogue, Corkscrew at Laguna ...
I consider those as more of an S bend.
Chicanes where you can't go side by side without slowing to near walking pace are the ones that need bulldozing, such as Monza.
When it boils down to it these nick nack chicanes are equivalent to having a three lane wide track coming upon a concrete gateway where only one car can pass through the gap. eg Those pathetic chicanes at the Gold Coast, ffs they have a giveway rule there, is this a bloody race track or a T-intersection.

As for F1 its only since they found tarmac runoff to be safer and more effective than gravel that we have had a track limit problem.
Most corners should have been reprofiled so they turn back on themselves ever so slightly, this eliminates any advantage in running wide and was easy to implement when laying down all that extra tarmac.
As for chicanes and cutting, easy, fuck that chicane right off. Anyone putting in or designing a track with a chicane has no business in track building.
Where there is a track limit that can't be handled by subtle means then use petrol station reversing spikes so once you go beyond track limits you simply cannot return to the track until passing a bollard at the end of the spikes.

Regarding Track Limits how about rather than 3+1 offs equals a penalty, make it three offs at the same section of the race track? Indicating that you are doing something consistently wrong rather than just a bunch of slight mistakes, half of which are often not your own fault!
Track limits has only ever been a later day problem. First in cheating in Sims and then in F1. Our league doesn't and I can't see it ever having a cheating problem and as for F1, seriously, has ANYTHING they have done ever made sense.

lol I'm working on the basis that ballast will help to settle the car on the banks ...!!
You're not wrong. The 908LH nearly has a competitive lap time but I just can't tune the suspension enough to maintain speed in the banking!!
