Mod Cars No Tyre sounds
« on: December 17, 2016, 05:44:02 PM »
It appears that all non AC mod cars have lost Tyre sounds, I have tested on a few mods, any ideas how to fix?

I'm not sure if this is correct, but I think it's up to the mod authors to fix their mods for the latest sound engine updates.

I think the changes to AC sounds, with each update are making it very difficult for modders. Some mods are of Kunos quality, the Lancia Fulvia
1.6 HF (perfect car to race against the Alfa)  being one, but now with no tyres sound, is no longer much good. I wonder if the delay with DRM Revival mod is also due to sound problems. Reading the forums, documentation on FMod changes are sparse and make it difficult to implement.
I just find it disappointing when trying to come up with car choices for a season you are stuck with one make grids, that does not happen very often in the real world.
