However the bollards are still there but instead of being concrete filled 44 gal drums they are now like a half buried wrecking ball. So you still hit something if you misjudge the chicane. This prevents cutting as it often launches the car into the air bust doesn't destroy your race or others following who would run up your arse if you came to a stop. The tyres at the edge of the sand trap are also the same so you can overshoot the chicane and still get back onto the track whereas before these tyres stopped you dead.
I did this as it was essential for offline racing with AI as it is impossible to stop the AI cutting corners
, especially on the first lap, and it normally ended in a clusterfuck at the first chicane.
