So far I'm way quicker in the Beemer than the other two and did less laps. That was on Marty's slightly tweaked set.

Yep, I run the Nixim mod which is the same spring really. Don't have a prob with that. They feel great. My pots are totalled. I have to spray every couple of weeks and strip the pots down every couple of months for a total overhaul. My throttle is playing up again after 2 weeks.

I've always been told that a pedal upgrade should always be the first thing to go for. Mine are absolutely knackered. Next year I'm going to start from scratch and replace everything.

I think Leo Bodnar has a USB adapter for G27 pedals so you won't need the wheel plugged in.

In my opinion Freezer's races should be presented at the university of how to do defensive driving! Spend so much time in the packs behind him.
No need to convince me.  Seems I spent a whole lot of time chasing his bumper...

+1 Apart from the blown engine 3 laps from home in race 3, it was an excellent night. Had some great battles without any contact and managed to get through the few incidents ahead without a scratch...

LOL, ironically I don't drive IRL. Haven't for nearly 20 years so no chance of any practice there. I'll get used to it. Changed it to sequential many years ago when V8 Supercars did and that's pretty much all I raced then. Never got round to switching back.

It might be an idea to stick me at the back of the grid here. I've had to abandon my sequential shifter in this car and have reverted to H-pattern. Haven't used it in so many years and I'm missing shifts all over the place atm and a fair bit off the pace.   Can see me inadvertently causing grief amongst traffic so best to be safe.

It also helps a lot if you know the people you are racing. This means heaps of practice with each other. I feel totally confident in a sandwich between Marty and QC and a lot of guys I regularly practice with. There are many who I only get to race with for an hour a week on race night that I get nervous around. Not that they are bad racers, I just don't know enough about them on the track to make assumptions like I can with others that I'm more familiar with.
