Yep, well done Mr Grat!! Good nights racings for me with no major incidents, just lots of tight n fair racing, thank yous!! Not sure if my pedals or pots are being a bit dodgy but I seem to lose a fair bit of time and space on the straights in these cars. My corner exit speed seems ok, I've got the pedal graphs up and they seem fine but I'm continually waving goodbye to peeps on the straights. Hoping it's one of those things like Rolz mentioned and I'm losing a percent or two somewhere, my pots need some lovin, so will hopefully clean them out soon. Could be just me, maybe it's mabelline, but udder than that, had an excellent night racing, working very hard to get my 12th 9th and 10th!!

did AC just do an update!! What a fk up.
There was supposedly an update at some point overnite. Not sure if it was during the round but best for everyone to make sure in steam you dont allow background downloads. This can be AC updating or any other game and can easily kill your connection if in an mp server while it happens.
Haha! Too true. I went hunting for background downloads last night but everything was OK. Perhaps just Netflix in my area? I was actually blaming 1.5 and especially 1.5.6 which changed the UDP locking code in the server (I think that is sort of what changed - not really sure). A major rewrite of comms code a few days before release to public would give me fits if done by my team.
On the pedal front, it seems likely that everyone's G27 pots are reaching EOL. I will try the WD40 treatment to see if that helps. However, I am still suspicious that something has changed in AC that causes calibration issues with the controller so I'm going to try a reset to default in the controller calibration to see if that works before spraying lube on my pots.
Use Contact Cleaner, not WD 40!!!

Good night of the racings for me, many close tight battles through out all races (Rob, Dave, Viper just to name a few!!) Some rubs and bumps occasionally but in tight quarters like this you'd expect that, and like Freezer said, the contacts seem better now. Having said that though, there was one contact with JamieP in Race 3 which surprised me. I fully expected for us to both come out of that corner side by side, but there was some contact and after watching the replay, poor Jamie went off. I'm sorry if you think I was at fault, but I thought I was fine on the inside, leaving room, but our cars just seemed to get tangled up badly.  Overall, good fun, much enjoyed, hope your gremlins get sorted Wally!!
