Thanks Wally!
Another well orchestrated evening.

First off I'll start with my Mea Cuppa, to Simone and Russ for first lap indiscretions. My reply only starts at lap 2 for some reason so haven't look at the video.

Race 2
AbleArcher locked up under brakes and ran wide from the inside of the corner, pushing Simone off track, and shortly after squeezed Russ off track – 15 kg penalty for the next round

Q I found my self in 10 position only to be knocked out by Wally, but finally found a 1:39:793' to put him back out of the top ten. I wonder if that had anything to do with the 15kg? ;D

P1 I followed @buellersdayoff jump start and had the same question about pit drvie thru penaltys. But got back to it with me chasing bueller till he spun @arents. After that I got on after Keith and Simone who were having a good tussell. That let me close in till they out raced each other into Colaseante turn. For the second half of the race I was after @Rob I just couldn't quite catch him till the last lap and stuck it up the inside @ the hairpin. I pick up one last place as @seanus ran out of fuel and was coasting for home. Apart from the jump start I started tenth and finished tenth.

P2 was better apart from the earlier mentioned incidents.  Best part of the race was the three wide down the straight with @Rob and @Doobs and wondering who would blink, sainity prevailed and we all made it thru. The next few laps, well the rest of the race I was chasing @Killa and being chased by Bueller. I over cooked it to the Hair pin I think I was distracted by @AB little excusion off the track and then Bueller was thru. I then spent 5 laps watchin Bueller and Killa go @ it, I was waiting for a mistake but no came that would help me. All the while @RussG had caught up and was filling the mirrors till I lock up going into cola which RussG did the next lap and handed the place back.

Not a bad night racing over all. If any one has the first couple of laps on video I would like to see what I did.

Cheers

Sure, nice one. But shall I draw your attention to your name on the windscreen?
Hi Wally
Good pickup. I have removed the offending glass/int_glass.dds, could you please re-download . I will run with the standard Porsche banner till I get my photo-shoppe-fu  :o to a higher level.

@Ablearcher83  You'll need to edit the alpha layer as well.
Well yes but need to find a better tutorial.
Cheers

After turning a few laps of the this curicut (paper clip) I forsee a bit of mayhem in turn 1 and 2 with the bumps at both apex's. From my typical view from the back of the grid it should be interesting! I personally almost put the Dick Simth advertising sign between T1 and T2in to orbit, after a little excursion into the in field.

Thanks Wally!
Another well executed race night.
And in honor of the Daytona...

Well my aim for this week was to not get another 25kg penalty, and keep it clean.
R1, major side ways slide into turn 1 and I got in the way of Able, we kept on but he returned the favour later on the last banked turn and I was not sure which way to go, we both wrecked, escape to pits 300 sec wait race over lol
R1 was ended in with a touch of the wall which spat me into the infield. Nice thing about racing in VR is to be able to spin your head around and watch that car thats is bee lineing straight at you. Remember you go where you look and @Bueller was looking straight at me. No problem Bueller.
Wally why the 300 sec delay, does it scale with the amount of damage?

Sorry cant help it....

R2 I started in stone motherly last! Then nice thing was that up front people were spearing off in all directions. The only thing I needed to do was too keep it smooth and clean. @Seanus was behind me giving me the hurry up (see gif #2), but was able to fend him off.

I was draughting AbleArcher when I got too close to the wall on the banked section and hit it, which damaged my aero, broke my suspension and ruined my top speed.
@Wally, I was watching you close in on me in my mirrors and was trying not to give any easy drafting pass! I had touched the wall in R1 so knew how cafeful you have to be. Sorry/Glad our little excurtion to the top of the track had the desired result. ::)

So on to the Queenland, let the sun shine.
