Hardware & Reviews / Re: System upgrade - 8700k & mobo« on: December 07, 2018, 04:55:01 PM »
I think when you upgrade to 10, win 10 allocates a new key, so if the 8 key don't work try a key finder, none of this will be necessary if it doesn't ask you to reactivate but for me it did with a mobo upgrade

It's no small task, do you have your windows key or have it tied to a Microshaft account? New mobo drivers downloaded on usb ready to go (chipset, lan, audio). Looking good

Thursday Nights fun racing / Re: S16 R6 - Kičevo - 06/12/2018« on: December 07, 2018, 07:56:11 AM »
Really good car/track combo, looked a lot like the shit box youtube video. Undulations and tight corners made the car feel more alive and with attitude. Managed to set a good time with bacchulums set up, thank you. It is great to join a session and just drive, no fiddling with set ups. Had some good close racing but no real chance to make a pass unless mistakes were made, speaking of which I put a wheel up the embankment unsettling the car enough to shoot across the road to the bushes in both races. Thanks guys good fun as usual

Sweet combo, should be good. My old gtx780 reference model in my daughters rig started to display graphical glitches (green dots intermittently) so went hunting on gumtree and got an evga sc2 1070 for $375, was asking 450 (he had two and almost took both at that price). Pristine condition and said never mined on, face to face he seemed genuine. A bit overkill for my daughter lol, but should hopefully last a long while and she's starting to play my games from steam and Ubisoft

Sounds awesome, an ac mod for something like that would be great

Cool stuff, at the beginning of the video there's a V8 formula car, is there one for AC?

Australian Assetto Corsa League, Tuesday nights / Re: S25R3: Atlanta Journal-Constitution Grand Prix at Road Atlanta 2017« on: November 28, 2018, 10:54:47 AM »
Complete shitshow for me lol, a bit of practice I did offline was in vr and had what felt like a good set-up for the car. But it seemed crap on race night on the monitor, so I spent a lot of practice tweaking with no real results. Also completely forgot to set up a fuel strategy until the last second and in doing so started on soft tyres instead of medium which I had planned. Couldn't get a good run in qualifying and started towards the back so I just wanted to stay out of trouble but I was on softs racing others with hard or medium which were slower in the corners than I. I rear ended G0D, very sorry, redressed. Stuffed up my pit stop adjusting fuel on the fly and lost a lot more time. Then hit the grass on the last turn contact the wall, exit to pit only 25 seconds wait but re-entered with lots of blue flag and quit. Good fun while it lasted, thanks guys and sorry for any troubles

All black looks a better too, imo 434
Hardware & Reviews / Re: Lenovo Explorer Mixed Reality (VR) headset« on: November 25, 2018, 12:31:04 PM »Thanks. I've tried it, not sure if works properly or I'm not doing it right. I've messed up all the settings and stuff too much now that I'm not going to bother using vr on the same rig, I set it up on my old rig (980ti) in the media room. That's my way around it all for now lolI didn't want to mess around with ac too much yet so I don't have to change everything back for tomorrow night 435

It's gone, was limited edition so probably no more, unless they have a enough demand for it or something. Looked really nice and almost hit the buy button also, but decided not to since one wheel and a button box will suffice for for me, although had I known they were releasing this I would have bought it sold my forza gt wheel and not bothered with the box.
