It causes stuttering in games, It has something to do with game mode and what it does to full screen rendering, google it, its too complex for me  anyway I have found a fix after a few weeks of annoyance . You have to disable fullscreen optimization It's easy. If you want to disable fullscreen optimization for just individual games, navigate to games .exe, right click > properties > compatibility > check "disable fullscreen optimizations." If you want to disable it for games across the board, globally (which is what I did), go to your general Windows settings (windows key > type "settings" > gaming > game bar > "record clips, screenshots..." OFF > UNCHECK "show game bar when I play fullscreen games microsoft has verified") restart the PC and try your game again in buttery smoothness Note that you have to turn the game bar off AND uncheck "show game bar when I play..." Just doing one doesn't fully disable the overlay.

. I was getting loads of stuttering which was distracting me and I couldn't see why. My memory CPU and GPU usage seemed normal, but it is a pretty hot evening here so it could be time to update the cooling in my PC. I was also running Z1Dash for the first time with the AC app which provides it additional data so I did think maybe it was that, though I had no issue during the entire practice when it was running.
That's the fall creator update, its crap, causes sssssstuttering, wont really notice it on practice server with only a few cars , lots of posts about it, Only way I can alleviate it is by using NVidia driver 388.00, but its still not the best, not even vsync or fast sync totally fixes it would think I have a 960 not a 1080ti since that update

All I can say id roll back if you can, I unfortunately cant because I did a clean install with FCU included
I Reinstalled 387.92? (last of the 387's) after a DDU, the 388's weren't nice to me either. Also I've blocked the fall update so still on regular creators atm.
Where can I get the latest Display Driver ?

I saw AC/DC on 27 Jan. 2001 in Hobart, Stiff Upper Lip Tour, reports the next day how the concert was heard from the eastern shore were amazing to me that it could be heard from so far away, but should not of been a surprise as the cloths on your back literally shook in time to the music 7.10 to 9.10 you get a pretty good bit of Malcom in action, don't see him much , but can hear him not missing a beat - tour I saw Ride on Malcom Young
