Set for 14, we will have some fun runs on the 16th June using the new track Mosport. A good chance to shake out any problems.

Get a warning about number of slots on this track while trying to join, then game freezes while
trying to load car #14. Track works fine offline. Cheers Dave O.

I think flattop meant to reply to this thread re Mosport pit slots. Seems to work now, at least with the Alfa.
I get a checksum error with the Miata...

Nor sure why you are getting the checksum error. Did Ti run the Mazda Mod before?

Deleted and reinstalled Mazda 1.01 and still getting checksum. Only on the Miata. Am I the only one with this problem?

Going on the past numbers on the inbetween season fun runs, we can run Mosport with 14 peeps.
Not sure yet to run the night with
race 1 use alfa or mx-5
race 2 use the other car...

something else that I haven't thought of yet :o

I have a heck of a job keeping the back end in line with lift oversteer going into high speed corners.

I have honestly only driven 1 lap of the new version but I new by the 2nd corner at Mosport that they have nailed it. It is probably quite unrealistic with too much grip but what a hoot to drive.

Off-line Bruce. I tried to join the xgn server but the car was red so couldn't join.
I d/led from Race Dept and the zip file had no folder name so I just used the old folder name for the v1.01 (Mazda_Miata). The xgn server car is Mazda_Miata v1.1) so not sure if I named the folder incorrectly or the files from one of the other download servers had a different folder name. When checking other on-line race servers I noticed that they all seemed to be named "Mazda Miata NA" (or something like that).
I'm a bit of a neanderthal when it comes to computers so I think I'll leave it to you more savvy guys to nut it out.

surprised there wasn't a parent directory for the mod, I unzipped it locally on my MAC, and it is named "mazda_miata_v1.1" so I named it so, in the server setup....
I would change your local directory to mazda_miata_v1.1
and Gratulin, it is up and running, and Rob has attempted to connect? :o
I will leave until I get home and no urgency as it is Tuesday Race day :)

I find with any over steer if you apply a touch of throttle as it starts to slide you can hold it steady.
Look forward to trying the new virgin out. I thought the original had a bit too much front end grip.

Having no success in getting the server running with the miata v1.1, alfa and Mosport...
May get time today, tonight is out... may have to call upon others to setup a server for Thursday night's race.

I think my initial enthusiasm for the Mazda has been tempered somewhat with the level of grip now with v1.1. Way to grippy with the modern performance tires (whatever they are called) but still heaps of fun. If I get a chance I will try it with the 90's street tires.

thanks and to Rob too, I had reset the server over lunch, but without a windows machine + game couldn't checked, just crossed my fingers, I will restart sTracker now...

I have been falling to connect continuously on each change to the server, it was my client!
It has been getting slower loading and a couple of steam apps have need fixing through the verification tool.
I just fixed AC and fixed.
Need advice on SSD.

Just d/l it but it's red on the server list (I've called it mazda_miata_v1.1 atm).

Been a while since i have raced online spent many years racing with Bacchulum at Austeam Racing until i moved and lost my internet, I now have from what i've been told a connection i can game with :) hoping to get ontrack again providing the connection is stable enough. any chance of gaining access tonight?

Joined in for the practice and a few laps of the qualifiers last night but the server disconnected and I couldn't seem to see it again. Anyway, I'm clearly off the pace with the rest of you and could barely get a clean lap in.
Hoping to get some more experience playing online next week.
