Because all laps (except DaveO's) have been without it, 'cause the track on the server is no chicane.

My internet connection is going from bad to worse and Optus tell me its my modem. NBN are going house to house laying connections and I have to buy a new ADSL modem. Poo!!!

Rob,

You have probably checked this already but here are some things to check at your end.

1. the wiring in your house is critical for ADSL to work correctly. Is your modem directly connected to the "Telstra black cable"?
2. are all other extensions been disconnected?
3. have you converted your old phone connector for the new modern RJ connector?

That is really bad news Rob, these ISPs will never believe it could be their problem >:(.

They should supply you with a replacement? I've heard the adsl line filters can play up, got any spares?

Wiring unchanged from when adsl first connected several years ago.

Only got one phone

Original phone plug, Jackson 3 pin screwed to the wall.

@Bueller
Internet connection several years old now and ditched crappy Optus modem years ago.
I am currently running internet with phone disconnected and without filter to minimize any disruption.

I also watched our collision too Wally in slomox10, my front left tyre guard got caught in front of your right rear tyre guard, pity, it stopped the fun for both of us :(. This is going to be very good season of close racing 8)
