Yes, I see. There might be a bug there where it doesn't report contacts after the winner has finished the race, as I can see in the server log file that your contacts with Jeremy where after Grat had finished.

Edit: Yeah, I wasn't showing any contacts after the race had finished. It'll be fixed for next round, so you can see all your final lap contacts in all their glory.

Looking at Race 3 results the contacts seem a bit screwed up, on the last lap I supposedly never hit Jeremy but he and Guybrush did hit eachother.

On both those last chicane incidents I did turn in tighter when I saw the door closing ahead and both times got the left wheels on the sausage curb at which point it was gone so sorry. Guybrush actually left more room then Jeremy did when I hit him, I dont know if I kept it off the sausage curb I could have pulled up in time to avoid both collisions but was just silly errors on my part.

Here is a video I made from race 3, which is probably my worst performance so far lol but I guess best to put it up and show what happened.  :-[

Key points in the video,

First half of the race failing to pass Jeremy

7:15 Matthew passed both me and Jeremy after I hit him in the straight, maybe a bit of a late Max type defensive move but there was still enough room to go right and stay on track so I wasnt exactly squeezed. As Jeremy ran deep into next corner after the contact I didnt want to take advantage of the contact and stayed behind. This let Matthew pass us both.

10:00 Guybrush assisted me past Jeremy.  ;D

10:30 hit Guybrush as a nice thanks to my team mate.  :'(

19:30 contact with Jeremy at the last chicane on the last lap. I was a long way back and not really trying a move on Jeremy, seeing he was mid track he also needed to brake harder for apex which made him slow more then I expected. I was trying to hold inside line tight with Guybrush outside, the door was closed pretty hard and no room so I went left onto the curb then jumped into Jeremy to repeat the move on Guybrush.
Good racing. It's good to watch your driving style, Marty. When you get on the throttle, you really get on the throttle, following that old rule "Don't get on the throttle until you can stay on it", and then there's a lot of steering correction on the way out. I'm sure that I do that correction by easing up on the throttle instead of with the streering.

Might be why Marty is often talking about graining and blisters.  I on the other hand try to minimise slip and be smooth and I don't see any real tyre drop off . . . but I'm not as fast either :)

I go by the smooth in, minimze errors on entry and hit apexes then maximize exit whatever way works best in the particular car and track.  ;D

The last place to chase laptime I think is under braking as the gain of maybe .05 on a perfect on the limit brake application, is up against losing .5 or more by braking just 1m too late and missing the apex by less then 1m. That race however I made more mistakes then all of last season so its far from my best display.  :-\

You had more pace in that GTR then I thought you would, was amazed how close our times were so that would mean maybe the rx7 was a few tenths quicker if I was just quicker then the Guybrush.  ;D

Well that was some great racing! The GTRs were too strong this round, but the rx held it's own.

Unluckily got punted off the track in race 1 and lost a few places but kept it together and made a few places up.

Race 2 had some great racing with others, a few contacts but nothing major, was very close racing for the most part in a decent pack.

Race 3 much the same as r2, great racing and the extra few places made up at the end of the last lap certainly helped.

Will have to watch the replays as the racing was fantastic.
