Guess I'd do better in a race with the Mustang because the higher top-speed would make it harder for others to pass me, but it is just not really fun to drive...hmm Logged Wally Administrator Hero Member Posts: 11036 Karma: 152 AC Admin Re: S27R2: Silverstone Race Chat « Reply #4 on: March 12, 2019, 09:24:33 AM » Phil takes the lead in the practice server lap times... by 3 thousandths. I wasn't fast but was more consistent so a bit of progress is nice. Sorry to DaveO for race one. My cooler cut out and took the LCD with it for a few seconds.Had some close battles and was clean racing so pretty happy. Anyone know where I can buy some lapspeed??? In the first race, I couldn't pass Joe. I could slipstream down hangar straight and pass, but then Joe had the inside line for the next corner and could re-pass. And then Phil reeled me in, and I finished 3rd.Races 2 and 3 were clones of each other - I got a good start, got past Joe and built up a gap, then Phil slowly gained on me as his tyres came good and passed me on Hangar straight.
