Hi Davo. I'm not sure about a$35 tablet. Seen $70 tablets at office works. They are total crap! But will work fine for AC.

the Android program is called: DashmeterPro.
It's $11 though! If you wait around it does come on special now and then for $8
both Marty and I use DashmeterPro. Helps unclutter the screen a bit. It's quite a nice app. They update quite regularly.

The tablets were on clearance from Coles. Normally $100ish. Keep an eye on ozbargain.
I use Hud Dash. I prefer it over dash meter pro, thought I only gave dash meter pro a quick go.

Sweeet, I have a tablet but wanted a $35 one for my son, no fear of it breaking and costing a fortune.

I'll look into those apps, I have some google credit left over from the KitKat giveaway..
