Funny thing about you guys is that when in the identity parade people were saying: "this guy must be X because he has racial connotations that fit my idea of him and the sound of his voice" nothing happened. to some, cars are an extension of peoples personalities... so some tagged to driving a van, hatch, ford would be like having an unsightly mole needing to be lopped off :P

Of course I know we are all joking here, mate. I just found funny you and Phil said "that's not my car" while none of us said "that's not my face." :) Nobody is offended for anything, here, I hope. It is all just for fun. And indeed it is pretty fun to see that even among a bunch of moderate petrol heads, almost all our cars are... well, pretty ordinary ;)
BTW: what car is that? I admit I am pretty bad at recognizing them.

THAT PIC, is a 1963 Mercury Marauder S55... now that has thrown a spanner in the works. :)

There is another thing bothering me here. Follow me:
1. Freezer is 2;
2. Freezer was not in the identity parade;
3. When Wally added 8 he said "one so far was not in the identity parade".
We know also (if you followed me you know why) that exactly one of these are correct: Phil is 1 or Gratulin is 8. But Gratulin was not in the identity parade, so if Wally meant "only one so far was not in the identity parade" then we must conclude that:
Phil is 1 and Gratulin is 9!!!

But then Joe was offended when someone suggested he drove a Toyota Altis, so he can't be 7. Also, GB cares about us knowing he drives a company car, perhaps with banners (hence the non-personal picture)

The next step was setting Gratulin as strictly greater than 8. But this is due to an interpretation of a hint by Wally, when he said "one is not from the identity parade" I interpreted it as only one (Freezer). But if either I misinterpreted or he forgot, then it does not hold anymore and we are back to:

Okay time to reveal. Mine is #9. 2001 bug eye WRX. Owned it since it was about 10mths old.
Its unmodified but about to undergo some restorative work to deal with old age.
Still a hoot to drive every time I jump in.... :).

Ok - since it is open the kimono time. Mine is #8. Macan S. Bike rack on the back is the give away. Great fun, takes our golf clubs, bikes and, at my age, has a high hip point so I don't have to drop down into a sports car anymore ;)

1. Wally never made a mistake when saying "3 of them..." or "4 of them..."
2. We did not grossly mistake some we took for certain, like 5 is Bruce or 6 is Wally---after all, 6 is Wally was based on one of the statements in point 1.

Trabant 601 indeed. Legendary...I don't really think so. It has definitely fallen apart tho. The shock mounts - that doubled as engine mounts I think - have rotted away on the cabin side. What I've experienced was that my steering wheel moved in a good 5-8cm's in at every braking...The mechanic said I would've almost certainly lost my tyres and engine pretty soon. ;)
But I've also owned a 1.1 version, later, for a little while. That was a death trap...same light car with a 1.1 WV polo engine.
Just so you guys know, the doors were made of fiberboard (the shittiest, weakest sort), a lot of things were either paper-thin steel or plastic...The whole thing weighed some 650kgs iirc. Hence the 26HP 600cc 2-cylinder 2 stroke engine worked well to propel this marvel of engineering at up to 100km/h in good tailwind.
Tyres were so thin they were practically bike tyres (some current bikes have wider tyres that's for sure).
