I was trying the Ferrari 458, and what it changed was the way you could hang the back out and control it. It seemed to give me more control of the back, without it snapping away. This is with my T500. Your milage with different wheels may vary, but it's worth a try. The Ferrari felt noticeably more controllable when drifting. Not like a lag, but you imagine movement through a viscous oil (just like a... damper!) With a tiny amount of damping, it feels good to me. Just try it. You might need to try probably a smaller percentage on a Logitech wheel, I reckon, because the T500, being a heavier wheel has a tiny bit of damping inherent in it. I have damping set to 100% and then just dial it to what I want in-game, i.e. 10%. I have always had damping in launcher set at 5-10% and left the in game setting at default 100%. I can then fine tune a specific car if needed but don't touch it generally.
