You need to get the NVidia Texture Tools for Photoshop (here: https://developer.nvidia.com/nvidia-texture-tools-adobe-photoshop) so you can export it as a DDS.
Unfortunately Photoshop CC isn't supported by that tool, so if you've got Photoshop CC, you'll need to get something else to open the PSD and then export as a DDS (Paint.net is a free application that can handle that part).

I've got a skin for the AMG GT3 I want to use. Not sure how I go about sharing it with you because the folder is 90mb. I can put it on Dropbox but what do I do, just share the link here or?

Guys, if you find a custom skin, just check the size of the dds files inside the folder, to make sure they're not huge files. For example, the skins that come with the game are about 4 MB, but the skins in Sin's skin above are nearly 22 MB. This will lead to performance problems in large grids, using up more video memory. So I don't want to use skins that have poorly optimised file sizes.

You'll need to upload an entire skins folder, with multiple dds files (body, rims, crew etc etc). This appears to be just a single dds file.

Also next to each persons name and skin can you put the actual car they are going to run, many of these arent structured correctly and with no indication of which car its meant to be for then people wanting to dl skins 1 by 1 wont even know where to put them.
I will make a single package with simple folder structure but going by those I need to check the registration thread to see which cars those skins actually are for.

I bundled all of the cars together and renamed each skin folder with the XGN prefix.
Also, updated the Json files to reflect the driver etc if it wasn't there.
Except for Marty's Mclarens as there were two. Also Christopher had a BMW and Audi in the download.
Something to start off if you haven't already.

Thanks freezer, good stuff I dont think there is much I need to do then. You can continue on or I can continue on from there if you like. I had just got a badic folder ready to add skins and wasnt sure of where to host. Was going to use mediafire or mega as I dont have a drop box account and dont really need another of these.
It really doesnt matter who does it as long as its put into a simpler package so everyone can fairly easily install the skins. And by the look of it younhave already done more then Iwas planning with adding driver names in there.
Keeping it as a single download with a basic install will mean everyone should be able to see all skins easily. Without this most would not bother toninstall skins as its a bit of a hassle especially for those not so keen on getting in amongst the files.
I will link the entry list all to their skins in the prac server once cars are finalized tomorrow.

OK added the missing bits and it works. Do you want the same car for each of you . . . there are no numbers on it!
Although I could add door numbers if you want ( you choose them ).

Heya Wally and Rolz!!
I was trying to decrease the DDS file size in this skin (photoshop and some AC forums, good fun) when I realized it already comes with a 5mb version of the DDS already in the skin (readme files... pfft!! who reads em!!)
So Rolz could use this skin if you still wanted... and get it added to the Freezer collection!!!

Rolz, that's another of these skins with hugs DDS files - 22MB instead of 2 to 3 MB like the KS cars. I think big skin textures could lead to performance problems for some with large grids. You'd be best off finding a more optimised skin.

My skin again is a bit of a real Huracan thats racing, however I think the guy that made this skin did a better job then the real car whose colours are a bit more washed out I think.

I do like Freezers skin taking on the historic GTR look. Nissan even did this a little with their v8 at Bathurst last year but an even earlier skyline.

Ive just updated the server to all current cars and skins from Freezers latest pack and 2nd half season car selections. Grid spots are also in season order Wally you should be able to use this entry list for the race nite too.

Freezer I noticed an issue with Bruce's skin in the skin pack, you have it packaged as XGN_Bruce/XGN_Bruce so it will show a white skin as it needs to get rid of one of the folders.
