My idea is for Robs Caterham Revisit with a handicap car of some nature, that can be any speed slower, I don't mind if its like a 5 second a lap penalty, will mix the season up ;) that the top 3 or 5 will have to drive

I see somebody has done a 620R mod of the academy version. Would be good to try and see the difference between the two.

Given Phil's penchant for changing rules every week perhaps we could do a short season called "PHIL'S MAGICAL MYSTERY TOUR". A different, surprise combo each week. From a shortlist of cars of a 'certain vintage'.

We did that recently on some Tuesday fun runs - just a mystery combo on the night - and people enjoyed it. You'd have to avoid mod tracks & cars though, so people have what's required at short notice.

Lotus 2 eleven 2.65 kg/hp
Merc 190 Evo II 2.64 kg/hp
BMW M3 E30 DTM 2.70 kg/hp

The performance of these cars can also be altered with selection of tyres by limiting some to Street tyres only, Server defined.
The concept of this selection is for the faster drivers to select the slower cars to allow close racing for all with no ballast. Some form of retribution will be applied to drivers who ignore the spirit of the racing in order to win. I am sure Phil with help from others will be able to devise a suitable disincentive.
I would like to throw open the selection of tracks (with a maximum lap time of 2min 30s) to all drivers. Good MOD tracks welcome, Mills Park comes to mind. I think 8 weeks would be good, with a break in the middle. There are plenty of 1988 tracks available from NoGrip.

the rx7 to me is a drift car its not for racing.. the difference in the power to weight ratio is only part of the equation so I wouldn't categorise it on that alone.

I remember posting about one of those a while back but never tried it. The modder was supposed to be doing an S2000 but don't think it ever happened. I used to have one so always been keen to have a decent mod version.

It's pronounced Lada, as written. With a russian accent. But it's to A's in it. Proper A's not the ones like in "game", nor like in "man" (stupid english language!). It's closer to when you say 'yadi-yada' - the second part 'yada', just replace the y with an l and you're near.
The handling is something I'd rather not talk about, even when all 4 brakes are equally working...

I agree it is very well done, great FFB, real rubber on road feel, and drives like a very expensive car but I fear in the hands of an alien us mere mortals wound not see which way they went.

I am going to do a pre season shake down round this week in the cars we will use for the season, if still the same , for 2 reasons, 1 wally is away and mostly because I am unorganized after being away,
Does anyone know of a decent Albert park track so I can drive the track i have been to so often, humor me :)
