Post by: Bruce on September 05, 2014, 08:21:22 PM

Westwood is too narrow and too slippery.

I think the level of enjoyment wok be up next week.
I must apologise to Peter R, I stuffed your GUID preventing you connecting.  :(

What round are we up to Mr Bruce?

Round 4 Dick.  This was going to be Westwood a Canadian track but is too narrow and not in the league if Castlehill., hence the change.

Is that Castle hill with a silent 'T'? as it is correctly pronounced? eg: 'Carrsel Hill'

Pretty sure the "t" is silent regardless.  So stick with "Cass-il".

Server is up far race tonight, set at 7 laps for race one.  Looking at the times race 2 will need to be 12 laps.
Good to see ThatGuyMike knocking your some quick laps on what I was guessing from your conversation your first run in the Cobra.
I gave add Imperious to the server list in case you find this late too :)

I really do like these cobras. Even if they aren't true to the RL thing. Mine wasn't behaving well under breaks last night though. did seem a little un-natural some of the lockups I had and their resulting hard spin.

anyway, had some laughs and that's what it is all about..

Skins. The head injury guy tried his best but in turn messed up the skin pack he made. His pack contains proto-types and they might not even be size reduced.
I will make a 'Dick Skin' page over the weekend and make a pack as well as individual ones with pics. (as well as other peoples non-dick skins)

On a side note, If anyone sees me online today (Friday) It's probably not me! it will be my mates! I'm taking my set up around to a friends place to let them all have a go and maybe entice them into getting the game as well.

I had a really good race 2. I tweaked the rollbars a little and the car felt better. I had fun chasing Marty and Bird until they tangled.

fun night for me, although finished down the list, found that getting <1:10 was impossible with the way I handled the understeer...
A much better track, guaranteeing a successful night for all.

Real life racing? That would only make me wanna get involved! A cousin of mine has been a serious drag racer all his life. (Terry Stacey) I was close to getting 'the bug' But discovered girls and other youthful adventures that cost just as much back in my teens.
