Title: March 31st AJ's Selection Caterhams and Arbath TC1000 GR5 at Oran Park

March 31st AJ's Selection.  Caterhams at Oran Park, might do a race at symmons as well if people feel like it seeing the v8s are running there this weekend.

I have albert park and the lotus type 25 up until I know whats happening :)

Shame the new Bonus Pack comes out March 31st European time, would have been cool to jump in the new cars on the new track!

Might give this one a miss guys. Not really impressed enough with AC to buy another Dreampack. Never done open-wheelers and really not a fan of the track either..... ::)

AC should put out a combo pack which combines all the Dream Packs for a slightly higher price.

Hang in there slideways. I think Phil just put this up as a placeholder until AJ proposes a car/track combo for the fun run. Combo criteria should be an 'old-ish' tintop plus easy but fun track.

Also, don't think dreampack needed? I think it is a free bonus pack that will be released with 1.5.

Simmons Plain sound interesting. I haven't tried the mod yet however. Is it any good?

I remember watching Allan Moffat in his Mazda being basically airborne and out of control  through the esses just before the left turn onto the main straight. He would land just before the start of the left hander into the main straight, then floor it and just miss the concrete wall. He could repeat this sequence lap after lap :D

A worthy competitor to the Caterham is the Arbath TC1000 GR5  (in the right hands) available from RaceDept.

If you want to use the inbuilt map app then you can fix it by deleting the map.png and data\map.ini from the track folder. Then restart AC. It will crash but rebuild the correct map files. Then good to go.
