Was up yesterday, re Nords Bernie canceled the German GP all up this year and Nords has put a ban on manufacturers setting record laps while still enforcing the speed limits on the track. Maybe in germany Manufacturers will start setting records on stretches of the Autobarn as there are no speed limits there only on the race track have they put limits up.  ::)

Im sure Kunos could piss off a lot of people to force an electronic speed limit at Nords and say its purely for sim accuracy.  ;D

edit - look first then ask

ok I am way slow and way all over the track... need spend ages on choosing a car that suits me and then seeing if I can get setup... these cars are a mission...

crazy fast, but well fun  ;D

Rolz, I am just using default setup and playing with aero a bit. Brake balance seems to be be the trickiest to get right. One hint on the FC1 cars (Williams and Mercedes 2015) is to only rev them to about 11,000rpm. The led lights on the dash are accurate to follow. Also, gentle on the accelerator out of corners in these hybrid cars otherwise crazy spins - too match torque and no traction control.

Another hint - don't drive these things just before the Alfa GTA - it'll do your head in :D

Cool, thanks for the heads up... yeah I'm like 5secs off your pace...  :o

Yeah I'm feathering the throttle but still spin like crazy... need to ease up I think  ::)

It's easy to see why they are so good at doing donuts in Formula One....

I will have a go with all 4 this time but the formula corsa cars felt very odd to me last time I tried as have all mods by that team physics wise. The Mclaren is a car that doesnt do anything that makes you think wtf did I do wrong but is still quite a challenge on the limit. The exos still feels best but its not quite an f1 car so I look forward to the kunos 2013 ferrari f1 car.

Ive never been very quick at Silverstone either and Guybrush seems to be a master of that like she is at most tracks so I think it will be hard to beat again.  ;D

We could make it default setup only, obviously with changes to Ffb and fuel allowed?  It would have to be an honours system.

I think that would be good. The defaults seem to be good enough to get close to the real life lap times anyway. Perhaps if people do modifying the setup they just post what changes they made on here. Aero is an obvious one. Gearing is not applicable for the 2015 cars but makes a difference in the other two.

Silverstone is a notorious aero circuit, ie. high downforce.
Teams use their Monaco package here. ;)
