Yea bIrd, I used to run triple monitors..was great but I'm off grid now in a small bacholar pad and don't have the power or room to have that setup anymore, didn't realise the delay on TV was that much but makes sense...re look left right when I do it makes me feel disorientated dunno why lol.

Don't worry joe u will be fine dude it's a great buzz racing a good league...just take your time and expect it to take at least a year to get competitive don't get disheartened where u finish as long as u have a good battle..with time the speed will come...altho some guys are just aliens..lol

Was a bit late as my new wheel stand came and I couldn't wait to put it together. Much better than the small table I'd been using! Race was a lot of fun, I didn't crash at least. Still not broken into the 1:40s on this track yet though, am sure I'll get there eventually.

I'll walk through the results for race 1.
For each type of car, these are the average best times:

ferrari_f40   1:48.603
ferrari_458   1:46.940
ktm_xbow_r   1:48.480
bmw_m3_e30_gra   1:50.309

The bonus points are calculated by the percentage margin from the fastest lap time, 1:46.940 for the F458. This means that whoever drove the F458 in that race gets no bonus points, because they were in the fastest car.

The other ratios to the F458 time are:

F40 = 1:48.603/1:46.940 = 1.6% points multiplier
XBow = 1:48.480/1:46.940 = 1.4% points multiplier
BMW = 1:50.309/1:46.940 = 3.2% points multiplier

So you can see what this bonus equates to in the "Bonus" column. On average, 2 points for the F40, 1 point for the XBow and 3 points for the BMW.

So for race 1, the points end up being (excuse the formatting):

Tonight was awesome guys...very enjoyable battles, had severe issues in quali and race one with everything slowing down stuttering made it hard, turned down graphics and was better in other races and got a bit nearer the times I was doing practicing...all in all very happy with the results after so many years off sims..other than a few mistakes relatively happy with my driving all things considered...thanks to wally and the club for putting the night on, hopefully I'll be on TS for the next one...thank you guys

Re points wally say u are the only one driving a certain car or only 2 guys are one really fast one slow, affecting the average vehicle laptime...how would that affect the system?

It still just works off the average fastest lap time. It's the best way to rank the relative performance of the cars, in the hands of this bunch of drivers.
