The licensing was a great feature of iRacing, everyone worked hard to keep their reputation clean.

So where do we buy Project Cars 2? Do Project  Cars 1 owners get a discount? :)
Not sure if my chief will allow the purchase after the having the humpy painted and trimmed  ::)

Does it have the big Mercedes sedans in it? now they interested me in Project 1?

Hey Bruce I'd like to add my best wishes!

I like to believe that our minds are our strongest weapon; as long as we believe in ourselves, and not believe any negative prediction from doctors, we can prevail.  There are numerous examples of such things happening, so I wish you a lot of mental strength, too, that'll certainly help pull you through.  The Car project is an excellent way of it!

Apologies if I sound presumptuous, feel free to just feel well and disregard my babbling! ;)
Istvan I know your not babbling and your intentions are honest and appreciated.  My mental attitudes is one of the ways that I have made it here along with the support and positive thoughts and love from my family and friends. The doctors are one method, my positiveness is another parallel path.
Thank you,
Bruce.

The prancing horse’s emotions in motion: Fortuitous close-ups from Ferrari’s official 70th anniversary party

Once in a decade, there is a moment of the year when it is possible to see a literal herd of prancing horses gathering together to celebrate their birthplace’s birthday: just like in previous years ending with number 7, 2017 was another one of those magical moment when such an event was possible.

Yes, Ferrari now is 70 years old, and rarely it has looked so young, successful and dynamic like in these months: with record-setting production and record-breaking stock exchange successes, seems like there were more than the usual amount of reasons to indulge in celebrations and festivities.

Also the recent F1 drawbacks in Spa and Monza weren’t enough to dilute the thrilling pathos of so great an era for the Maranello realm – apparently.

Therefore, it’s no wonder that during this past week of September, birthday events became a grandiose tribute like anything before, climaxing in the two-days meeting right on the Fiorano track, sort of ideal nursery for all cars with the Prancing Horse on the hood.

It was really good to catch up with Phil and his wife and add a physical presence to the mental picture. The setting was great too Baskerville would have to be one of the best tracks in Australia for spectators, thankyou Bruce for being the inspirstion to come here. The variety of grey motor cars was exceptional !! Did you notice the pics of the Repco x flow head Bruce? I haveyet to find the Waggot ohc conversion.
Full marks to Phil too for someone without an I T background to do what he does for our Thursday server.
I now have a pictorial meeting with you both, I must say Phil you certainly look relaxed behind the wheel, and adapted "the look" with an elbow out the window. Denis, nice to thank me, very pleased that you enjoyed the trip after all my spruiking, and then unable to attend, I felt a little guilty on that level along with disappointment, but there will be an event that we all can make it.
The yellow one "Simpson" on the back window was sitting in our drive for a couple of nights, they worked to the last second to get that complete stock to racer project done in time. Ian is in the same situation as myself, and his son in law Mike was running it for him.  I think he will get a great kick out of, as he raced FJ in TAS for many years.
Man those cross flow high performance are the "ant's pants", (and Waggot :) ), there may be a Waggott in one of the "specials".
They both form the Holy Grail of Grey Motor :hotting up".   Just revisited the album, you captured the event well.  Great track for spectating, every one has always said, you can see the complete track from some of the vantage points, which is rare.
Cheers, Bruce

thanks Phil for the pics, good broad view of the day and really pleased you enjoyed the group of cars, I never tire of seeing these machines.

I noticed the cameos in Jeff's car, if I got it right you both look the part!   Ready to hit the track, you just can't buy KOOL  8)

Great to hear Denis and yourself caught up, it was going to be a highlight for me, ahhh next time.

well found Wally, that is a must! Even in the .09 form it is an exciting track.  We will have to find a use for it very quickly.
The film linked in his description is well worth the watch.  The size of some of those cars is a amazing, the drivers look so insignificant.

love the Lotus, Fiat, Ford etc meanings. and I can usually find and anecdote, Denise says "your full of it",  I'm sure that is a compliment! :)
Home now, finished radiotherapy yesterday, thank goodness.  We, (and I say we, it takes a lot of the family too), have a couple of weeks rest and then on to chemo.  They are still looking after me, that good.
The hospital food was okay, although I was eating meagrely,  much nicer a

The car has perked me up mentally and although having missed meeting up with Denis and Phil at Baskerville, I am going to renew my race licence and we now plan to run at the Historics meeting at Sandown early November.
