I liked the 67 track in rFactor, not sure on how much time you have, but it would be a good addition, espesh when we do "The Great Aussie Historic Series" We need all the group n cars modded, now that would keep me rather happy... Will delve into things and see. I'd be interested to see how it goes with a group of us.. Logged --- A quitter never races and a Racer never quits. --- rooshooter RestrictedRacing Hero Member Posts: 2887 Karma: 52 Re: Track / Car Testing « Reply #37 on: October 20, 2016, 10:09:36 AM » This is the sort of racing I really enjoy, cars that are on the surface a mismatch but equal in performance on the track. Much tougher to drive than the M3 though I assume. So we can start collating a shortlist of cars for next season. We could also open up the track list. Perhaps people could nominate a track replacement? ie nominate a track to be replaced in the BTCC list and then nominate which new track should replace it. I'd like to test it on the server with more than just the 2 of us though to see how it goes. Some require ballast added to one car to make the racing closer, but on average most are stock.. 1 cars strength is the other cars weakness and vice versa. This is the RUF yellowbird vs the mercedes SLS. I ballast did have to be added to the RUF as it had a bit more power and top speed.Another mix is the Lotus Exige S and the BMW 1M @ spa.. very close. (looks to be the standard 1M)To add to the mix of the M3 vs cobra you can add the Lotus Evora S S2 to have 3 makes..I tested both road cars against the cobra and the evora seemed even closer to the cobra for speed. There was another car we mixed with the Mazda MX-5 cup.. I think it was one of the abarths..
