First race was good, i couldnt make the others due to technical issues.
Really happy i managed to keep up with the field and hit a 1:01.8 even though that was achieved by cutting through the final corner left hand side. Thanks for wetting my sim racing appetite, was great racing with you all! 2

This race was my best yet, despite stuffing up the first race.
2nd race was my best finish yet, i think scoring the 13th spot. Managed to stay clean and not hit anybody, despite the carnage that was around as Wally described. 3rd race was the most fun, with Pete, me and Wally battling it out towards the end. I managed to pass Pete halfway through the race, then Wally came around eventually over taking Pete, then his sights set on me next. One more lap Wally would of had me, but i managed to hold off and avoid contact all the way to the end. All i could see in the rear view was great aggressive driving with Pete finding openings as i was holding up Wally haha. Cant wait till next race! 3

Great race!
Was bringing up the rear as always with BAFS and GRUBERT, i unfortunately hit GRUBERT at the start of the 2nd last lap, which im mega sorry for, entered too fast and ran out of brakes. Was good chasing BAFS towards the end, i had momentum but came in too hot into a corner then into the grass. Got back on the road and realized i had no more rear grip and couldnt keep pushing. Very glad i managed to get to the final lap before the server shut down, huge achievement for me. 4

Australian Assetto Corsa League, Tuesday nights / Re: S6R4: Mugello Post-Race Chat« on: April 15, 2015, 11:04:36 AM »The BMW is certainly more work than the 458, especially with the H shifter, but that makes it more fun, really. The only problem I have with it is still losing the rear end on braking and downshifting on occasion. Yea, that is one of the issues i want to overcome in this BMW, i end up losing too much time going sideways and always tend to overdrive the car. Having ABS certainly did help this time around but i still try to avoid activating it. Good to see a BMW at the front of the pack, i set a couple of good times in practice but simply could not replicate or come close race and qualify. Care to share your setup for the BMW Wally? I found myself running higher tyre pressures and setting either bound or rebound one value up to aid in turn in. 7

Good racing guys,
the E30 DTM is so much more competitive! Need more time with it to land more consistent times. 8
Australian Assetto Corsa League, Tuesday nights / Re: S6R4: Mugello Race Chat« on: April 10, 2015, 09:34:52 AM »Definitely a Ferrari track so I recommend all in DTM's to go Ferrari's for the rest of the season. Hah, i smell what your cooking. They are so fast down the main straight, they are perfect! 9
Australian Assetto Corsa League, Tuesday nights / Re: Mid-season car swaps« on: April 10, 2015, 09:33:24 AM »Give the m3 DTM a good test before choosing, I think the grp A drives much better but the dtm is clearly a few seconds a lap quicker. It really has become much more of a handful since v1.1 though and is only just around the merc for pace but quite a bit trickier to get that pace out of it. You were definitely right with the updated m3 DTM, gave it a run on Marty's servers last night and it was a handful! It definitely was quicker, and it keeps up with the pack. I didnt have much time to hone in the setup, but im pretty confident i can make the thing drivable. I did go up against some ferrari's too at Muggello, it is hard to pass down a straight, but its the corners where its at 10

Yea it was some good racing, the second reverse grid race was great! managed to stay at the front, but i am still yet to master turns 2 and 3!
At least costing me 2 seconds there, can never seem to get the braking point right. 11

Was great fun guys, despite being at the back of the pack as always.
Managed to break 2:05 which is an achievement for me in this slow BMW E30 GRP.A. Best time of the night was around 2:04 so mega happy. I think it was race 1 where i managed to hit the only other BMW in the field? haha what are the chances. 14
Australian Assetto Corsa League, Tuesday nights / Re: All time driver and practice server stats« on: March 30, 2015, 04:10:54 PM »FYI, I've put Marty's banlist on the practice server, so that should filter out some idiots. Anyone can become an admin with the usual password and kick someone who is blatantly wrecking or griefing. They will be automatically added to the banlist. Explains why i cannot get in, I am still banned on Marty's servers for some reason. Im guessing i will have to contact you Wally once Marty lifts my ban on his servers? Moo. 15
Australian Assetto Corsa League, Tuesday nights / Re: S6R2: Silverstone International Race Chat« on: March 25, 2015, 01:02:54 PM »Yea I think anyone competing in the bmw is a hero as its a dog Yea a huge fat slow dog that seems to go around corners well. Its the XGN Toyota 86 hehehe! I recall i was admist a pack of 458's in race one, was gaining ground in the corners, but given a straight line shows how really underpowered these cars are to the rest of the field. Not complaining or anything, as i do want up my skill with these cars, bring on silverstone!
