I don't if it's the track or what, but I can't get Tyre Pressure Engineer to work online at this track.
It keeps disappearing from the right-side menu. :-\
It's checked in the options menu, I just uncheck/ckeck it again and it shows up again, offline.
But when I join the Thruxton server it's gone again. :(
I feel lost without it......

In theory, it should have nothing at all to do with the track, only the car.

I thought so, so it's weird something's up, as it's been fine with this car up to now.
Is anyone else having issues?

try deleting the apps ini file and hopefully it will rebuild correctly on next start of AC.

That's Phil's handicap system. Anyone who clean sweeps a round isn't allowed to practise or tune their car for the next round.

Fair enough. ;D
So there's an 'untuned' setup on the server for anyone to try, tyre pressure might be out. ;)

More forward brake bias could possibly help? I know I'm running 75% and the fronts are locking up slightly but with no damage there is no flat spotting so no bad effects.

Oh, btw, seems as though stracker has crashed on the server or is disabled?

I saved it before it went down if you need it?

Happy to run stracker on a separate VPS for you.. pretty sure you can host stracker separately just by changing the IP for the plugin...

I believe stracker needs access to config folder so needs to run on same machine. Unless something has changed in later releases.

I think since it became a UDP plugin it doesn't have that requirement. Could be wrong.

Looking forward to tonight. Should be fun! The long 'straights' should give some good passing opportunities and probably some big spins also.

what seems simple on paper, proved to be a little harder to learn in V reality.  I had entered remembering the rFactor version, opps, thanks to rooshooter's setup it was a little easier getting 'some' laps in, but need to do a lot more, time permitting before race time.

This is true; while learning it yesterday on that long right handler (which is nearly a straight), I overcooked it spun across the grass, over the hedge and flipped the car into the trees. The game then chucked me back in the pits...

At least the return to the pits in VR is instantaneous,  after such a spectacular track exit.  ;D

The baby has been unwell so I did think he'd prob wake up but did hope for more than 3 or 4 laps.

A shame as it looked to be a good race. Qualified 3rd, but after the server reset I started in 15th, I got back to 7th by the time I had to leave, and  with with the top 5 having to pit it could have been a good result. Ah well, at least with zero points I definately won't be in the top 5 for next week either  ;D

Qualified 2nd, extremely happy with that effort. New WR set by Bacchulum tho, wd on that and the race win.

Race restart and I was 14th or so, made my way up to 5th before the first lap only to go wide on the fast right hander and lose out to heaps of positions and knock into humper on reentry, sorry about that thought it was clear... really need to get me triple screens.

I knew I had pace and the car felt great but a few errors here and there and my 1 pit strategy on low fuel didn't work, new tyres gave me some extra life at the end but if I didn't pit I think I could've done a bit better without having to make my way back through the field.

Bring on Oulton Park?

Good stuff Phil Im amazed I wrote instructions that you could follow, I tried to explain as much as I could but looked a bit messed up when I read it all back. It may look like a complicated setup I am running but its really fairly simple once you know how its setup.

Guys no need to worry about any money as the servers are already paid for with probably 10 months left at least, when they run out if there is still a need for the servers we can possibly all pitch in a little and keep them running after that if needed.

Was a bit of a disaster but still fun. Bacchulum was clearly in a class of his own and deserved the win. Sadly my results was destroyed by a my bone lazy mechanics, they took more than 2 minutes changing 4 tires!!!!!!  They must have been out partying the night before with the crews of Phil and Gratulin.

I'd pay them more if they take other team's out on the town to sabotage! :)

What a disaster, I was tired to start with, but didn't realise just how little concentration I could muster, then the race started... I was just exhausted! (hmm poor choice of words :) )

Thanks for all the lever pulling Phil, no need to apologise, there are many moving parts you have to balance, and still get enjoyment yourself.

Maybe they filled the tank as well?
How come the results say I took 0 pitstops when I actually took 2?
They stuffed me up, cause on my out lap after both stops, I spun off both times, possibly cold tyres.

Stracker says our pit times were pretty much the same. Seems this track had a problem with lap count while in the pits ie it didn't count the lap!!!!
