Lots of us liked the MX5 cup and it was suggested we do a season. I checked out the car and found my skin! which means we have already done a season, albeit Tuesday.
For you consideration. Flyin' Miata / V8 Roadster

I'm hoping I got everything pretty close to reality. Tad extra weight, that wing gives a bit of anti-lift rather than any real downforce. Ever so slightly wider tyres but still the same type. Turns out even with a bloody great Chev in the front the weight distribution stays the same! Must be a neat weapon in real life.

Season Tracks:
 Bristol
Charlotte Oval and RC no chicane
 Daytona Oval and RC Moto
PPIR and RC or Texas World and RC (8 to choose from)

4 rounds, enough to get us dizzy but hopefully not sick of it.

By the weekend I'll have three options ready.
They'll be:
A season in the Buick and Pontiac, Ovals and their RC versions.
Special event, Indy '52
Special event, Race of Two Worlds.

How about this?

Do a season in the Nascars then use 'Special events' as lead ins to other seasons.

I can make up quite a few special events such as above and 'Nothing but the Cobra' etc.

Yeah I did. But at the same time I was redoing the Buick and now Pontiac again! (groan) so I'll have to back to you on that.

I've got one of my infamous fixed versions. Planning to contact the author with the changes, waiting to see if he revises his version.

GzeroD, how do you manage avoiding a clash of motor/wheel base housing with U/S centre monitor? I didn't think it was possible to keep 32" screens so close unless you extend you steering column...

Didn't need to extend the steering column, but having an OSW wheel left just enough room between the motor and the steering knuckle/QR. My monitor is sitting on the steering shaft.

Over 20 years it went thus:
21" CRT  4/3      1186*864  ended up with three of these but not for gaming
19" LCD  16/10  1440*900  bolted directly on top of my Logitech Momo 35° FOV
32" TV    16/9   1920*1080 cheap arse Kogan, suspect it was only 720P
42" TV    16/9   1920*1080 parents old TV
24" LCD  16/10 1920*1200 last of the 16/10s
24"*3               5760*1200 found two more 16/10s!
27"*3               7680*1440 refurbished Dells, cheap at half the price
32"*3               7680*1440 Dells got too hot, Viewsonic

3x32" 2560*1440

Eyepoint 540mm

Screen centre ≈50mm below eyepoint with the monitor bracket angled up to stay centred with my eyes. i.e. I'm looking down slightly

Screen Angles 58°

Screen width 698mm Monitor width 712mm
Screen height 394mm Monitor height 418mm

Bezel 16mm (8mm each side) A little odd as the monitors aren't quite square.

I've got versions of the car and a very similar track, currently receiving revisions.
8) ;D 8) :-*

So I thunk it's a 57 Chev so I put in the biggest engine Chev made in that period, but than I noticed it ran slicks so it must've came from a lot later than '57 and just uses the body.
So I widened the track and stuck those wheels outside the guards like a good modified should, also explains how this car can have an independent rear end.
Beveled the mirror and air cleaner so it's not such an eyesore, reversed some text and replaced the tacho. And the collider is as forgiving as I could make it.
