Was good fun. I enjoyed the combo. I was travelling alright in 4th after Marty and Krahl had an accident, but on lap 20 I smacked the wall pretty hard up the hill and spun massively, damaging the car.

Good race. Getting closer to Guybrush till the final lap but is not enough to overtake him. Bird was so fast.. congratz Bird for winning the race and the season.

I got to say it was immensely satisfying to be faster than either Martin, Aiman or even Guybrush - same car, same everything...Hell YEAH baby ;)

Guybrushe's skin wins again! Totally forgot I was going to try and fix the flashing wheel tread. There are 4 or 5 separate files that make up the wheels, gets a bit painful.

Good race!! I had a ball,shame I put only few laps for practice but I don't think it would have chamge a thing.Also the frame rate was acceptable.Congratz to Istvan for a strong performance and to everybody for a clean but hard 24 laps RACE.....NOICE!!!!!!

Simone, it was very nice to see you on track again!
I reckon the speed difference comes from the fact that this is our 2nd season in the car, so we're getting quite adept in it ;)

Wd Bird, also thanks for the setup as it helped me get a bit of pace by the race at least.
Having not driven the track before or car much before the practice session it took a bit to find any pace. Got a little more comfortable during the race. Lap 1 lost some spots as a few of us took Birds line through the chicane then ended up following Krahl for most of the race.
I made a move on him into the chicane after many laps chasing him but from inside and braking hard, needing to also turn tighter I locked the rears and looped it. Unortunatly for Krahl he hit my spinning car as its not a very agile beast at that point of track.
Wally got bye bith of us there and we followed him for a bit, until he had a massive shunt on the fast sweeper before the chicane. His cars was flying all over the place then landed and kept spinning. Krahl tried to avoid it but got hit then I somehow squeezed betwen both spinning cars ending my race in that position but quite a bit behind Aimen who was the next car ahead I think.
In the end the car felt quite good at this track, the track itself has a fun layout but needs a fair bit of work. Its got some low polly bumps into the asphalt corners and also the timing is screwed up. You can see the race fastest laps being just a little off and also my delta wasnt working. Pit stops also dont work so not quite a league ready track but was fun to blast around it in these cars.

Well done Bird and everyone. It was a great car and track combo. Would loved to have practice it a bit more to get a feel for it as I enjoyed it, but had fun keeping Aiman behind and I think we were never more than a second or so apart.
Look forward to next season... is it worth trying another car, like the F40 or something equally as historic?

I'd love an F40 season. It would also give us practice with a car that is not straightforward to drive, thus an advantage at the next arse vs gxn meeting.

I didnt even get my name on the list. ;D only ran 1 race and not very well so not like it matters. I am not up for the big bucks this season anyway.

Fixed, you were listed under "Carrol Shelby", you have now displaced Carrol! :)
