I just wasted about an hour trying to create a clone of the west circuit (no idea what I'm doing) to give it the south west ai/track limits...oh well

A bit of gooogling, it might be the south west, which you can still drive by loading up the west circuit, would be cool to make an ai line and/or track limits for it.

Pushed a bit too hard in qualifying also running out of fuel at the line on a hot one. Good battling in R1 don't think I would have made a pass without the guys mistakes. R2 I was a bit sketchy on the cold tyres, hope that didn't put anyone off. After Killa went off just tried to keep it consistent and not cook the tyres too much. Good night's racing, thanks guys.

The tumbleweeds are rolling through. Not too many lap times set by the fast boys!
Put too much time in preparation for rooz acc, I've done a few laps offline and managed 37's, tried a few laps in the other cars and could only manage 38's. I'll try to get on early tonight maybe. Also spent some time fiddling with csp and what not because I've started to notice some infrequent mini freezes, I think it's sorted.

Qually was wet/wet tyres, race was wet-ish/slick tyres from memory, I'm getting 55's while dry with low wing but might not race with it like that if it is slippery. Had to pump up those slicks for the race quite a bit too.

There's some minor benefits in input lag from the higher frames, check out some of the videos from battlenonsense on yootoob, it might be worth while trying out fast sync in the nvidia control panel with those big frame rates and no cap since vsync is introduces too much lag.
From memory, use fastsync when super high frames above the monitors refresh. Frame cap when frame rate just above the refresh rate.

With the Lexus, on either default set I could manage 56's, downloaded this set https://www.setsbase.com/ecommerce/all-c56797006/lexus-rc-f-gt3-paul-ricard-murphys-sim-racing-p234755390 and started getting into 55's, then started watching the vid here https://www.setsbase.com/ecommerce/all-c56797006/lexus-rc-f-gt3-paul-ricard-matt-kennedy-p285056848 over and over trying to mimic the on screen movements. I've realised I wasn't turning my wheel enough at apex like in the vid (probably to avoid graining/blister) and I've now set a PB of 55 flat, times were with about 50L. Keen to test low fuel tonight. The main differences from default in the set is; almost fully lowered ride height all round, softer front springs, increased front bump stops and almost no rear wing.

I'm just happy the gearbox made it through

Crunched my gearbox quite a few times, miss shifted 2nd to 5th too...big derp. I had a bad run, miss shift with the throttle on full while the gears are grinding for what feels like a good second just waiting for it to go pop.

Maybe I did a Joe but something didn't feel right tonight.

I don't even know what that's supposed to mean  :o Are you talking about my lack of practice or setup?  ;D

Sorry for turning you around. You and Mael kept taking a very wide line out of that final hairpin, but in the BMW I was able to get more exit speed braking harder and later and taking a much tighter line. Looking at the replay Mael got a wobble on, you didn't go out as wide as I thought you would based on the previous laps and I was already on full power. Was pretty much a side by side impact shame it spun you.
It's all good. what I mean is, what Mael says about being over confident, hinting towards you. A few practice laps, she'll be right kind of attitude lol...
I put most of my practice time into the Suzuka race at Rooz and not much for here...this track is basic, how hard could it be...

Looking up the stats I did match my medium tyre practice time but didn't beat it with soft and couldn't match killa and dietmar, nice work guys.

Maybe I did a Joe but something didn't feel right tonight. Did a few laps on the practice server and went to check the times, top of the board, also realised I only had the medium tyres on and then thought she'll be right on race night once I put the softs on (the Joe part). However race night comes, put the softs on and just couldn't get anywhere near the practice time, qually was the same. Race time, I thought, should be right I'll get the jump but no, the car didn't feel right. I couldn't get the hairpins right which is shite because that's practically the whole track and I just over drove the car all night. Good fun though thanks guys.

New tracks are nice and the AI is half decent with mixed classes, not perfect but still fun. Tested with ai @ 95/95 on the new tracks, have to select the B-GT for mixed class races. Might have to bump up to 100 aggression to get them to attempt more moves, you'll still get punted every now and then unless you give them some room for their ambitious adventures.
