I think Wally wants to follow the Backpain series, and they weren't around in '67.
(although I think it would make a great slipstreaming race ;) )

Yes, the more "open" practice servers are good advertising.

Mael, you'll notice we didn't use Monza66 either ;)

Marty, all sorted for me. Having the OSRW up for a bit was really good but really only impacts me since I am in the last pitbox.

I tested with AI and it always seems to assign the first pitbox irrespective of start position. Unless I'm missing something.

Is that even in a quick race? I didnt test just assumed it would work like an entry list for mp if you picked grid 30 you would get pit 30. Its likely that it does always assign pit 1 for the human driver so then I will just put up the OSRW mod probably early in the week, from Friday on put official track up to see if some other people may want to jump in the server.

Especially with the OSRW mod tracks as who knows where the pit spots are located and it is usefull for those in the earlier spots to see where it will be.

Ive got them up on another server at Nurburg sprint with m235i, cayman gt4 and Maserati GT4. I dont think the 3 will really match up but Ive only driven the cayman there so far will try the others, server has been rather quiet.

Tested all 3 for a few laps beamer way too slow but maserati and porsche are pretty close. Maserati actually drives better but I think only post patch its got better.

Good news!  I took my pedals apart and gave them a good blow out and have this time covered the pot and rotator thing with glad wrap.  They are back to normal now, so am hoping they stay that way.

Fingers crossed.

I'm finding the Maserati feels more planted in 1.9. It seems to have more grip and not slide around as much. And that was even practising with a track temp of 13 degrees.

Grrrr, just jumped back on and it's worse than ever.  The whole of the hangar straight was at 75% throttle.  Why would blowing out the dust, etc. in it fix it momentarily, yet when it's all covered up it somehow gets worse?  Could it be heat related?  It's on carpet in an enclosed space.

As Bacchulum said, I don't think pots are sensitive to heat. Have you tried an electrical cleaning/conducting spray on the opened pot? Is your pot securely housed so that it's not moving as you depress the pedal? I've had pots be a little loose in old pedals, which will stuff up the range of motion of the pot.

I think you actually need to clean them like Wally said.  Having grease or a deteriorated surface will reduce the conductivity . . and therefore performance.

Maybe see if you can buy some new ones, they can be too expensive and maybe seal in the new ones once you get them.

If it's a build up of carbon, it's shot. :(
Cleaning will only ever be a temporary solution.
