Australian Assetto Corsa League, Tuesday nights / Re: Season 39 Skins

Doesn’t anyone have a template for the Lamborghini? I can’t seem to find one
You can make skins templates in Content Manager (see you tube).

Here is the one I made - https://www.dropbox.com/s/o8vrolevz9cq72u/skin_00.psd?dl=0

Hey guys, yeah, this situation here in Australia gets a bit out of hand imo. Well, and I don't like where this is heading either. So, I decided to leave...destination Buzios, Brazil...and that's the reason I stopped doing sim racing. This whole thing is quite a challenge...dealing with 3 lawyers atm in order to get this sorted...and I don't know if they let me out of here...that's the tricky bit. Wally, I'll let you know once this is final. Time difference is 13h...so if I fall out of bed I might join you again if the ping is not too crappy. Just wanna say thanks. Take care
Totally agree with your sentiment . . . there's a lot of crap going down here!  Shame to see you go but good luck, should be a good adventure!

Good nights racing.  As Brad said, you had to drive them the right way but once worked that out you could lean on them pretty hard and
have some good racing.  I liked the Saleen which with some tweaks was pretty solid.  The 550 was probably quicker that the 575 but the 575 was
easier to drive across the kerbs etc.  All up I'm keen to do a season in these.... :)

Funny night for me, I was quick on the practice server and with some luck grabbed a win after chasing Wally in race 1.  But race two I couldn't get onto either straight quick enough
to not be victim to the tow with about 3 people getting past me.  A spin in race 3 also didn't help my night either.  I was hoping to chase down Bacchulum for 2nd overall but he was
to good tonight so well done.  A third outright for the season however is still one of my better ones and it was a good season.  Well done all, thanks Wally.

So very cold. It takes a couple of laps to get the tyres up to still cold.   ;D

Should be a fun round. So far I'm finding It's really easy to over drive here and lose a chunk of time on most corners.
If you get on the kerbs at the end of the back straight they can send you flying.

Great nights racing.  I couldn't find speed with my setup during the week so went back to default and found a chunk.  Then in warm up I questioned my tyre pressures and by adding 8psi I found another second!!!
As each race went on I was getting more confident and leaning on the car more which resulted in 0.9 sec improvement by race 3.  Race 1 I nearly rear ended Bacchulum, then in Race 2 almost did it again at the start :)
Had a great battle with AGK with a number of position changes in race 2 and in the final race pushed hard to chase Wally and had a few opportunities but wasn't able to capitalise.

Do you mean the cars or the track Seanus?

Amazing how many spins deitmar had only to catch then and keep going 😬.  Great night's racing, I really like Oran Park and it's roller coaster ride.
There wasn't much between the top four so I just aimed to be consistent and stay on track which for the most part worked out.  Good fun....

Record night for me, pole and three wins.
Was able to hold Joe off into turn each race and from there he was only ever about 1 sec behind for race 1 and 2.
Race 3 was similar but Joe disappeared and Mael replaced him.  It was tight all the way with a late race dive into turn one
saw Mael go to deep allowing me through and a clear run to the line.
Lots of concentration required but a good nights racing...

Wally, I think I remember years ago we posted head shots to see if we could name them.
Might be good for a laugh...

Joe caught testing the updated Formula Ford. Sadly there was no improvement made to its handling.

Haha nah I don't drive anything as exotic. I bought this boring ol' family car the other day. It's actually pretty nice to drive though.

Always funny to see what someone actually looks like compared to what you think they look like from talking online!!  :) :)
Yes, Joe, you look nothing like I imagined based on your voice!!!

I thought my car felt alright in my practice, but on the night it was quite unstable. I spun several times, often while downshifting in the slowest corners, and that final corner sequence gave me the heebee geebees. I did try Bach's setup, but it didn't click for me, but I should probably try to adjust my overdriving style to suit his setup.
I also went the Bacchulum route which was very different to my first set up.  Biggest difference is the engine braking, it like pulling on the rear brakes when you lift off, and can lead to lockups/spins!
My original setup had it right down however I was quicker with Bacchulum's but felt more on the edge.  I also was slower on race night for some reason, although I did my fastest lap on the last lap of the last race . . nice time to finally find some pace  ::) ::)

Race 3 had a great couple of laps with Seanus and Freezer, but Freezer and I going side by side through T2 didn't quite work out, then I collected Wally trying to get out of the way  :o
Checked the replay and I would say 50/50, I was trying to hold tight bit drifted slightly wide and you came in very slightly, just a small touch saw us both off!  :(
