This final round is a two-race round, with race 2 having the compulsory stop for tyres.

Race 1 is 8 laps. Race 2 is 17 laps.

Brad's got an unassailable lead in the championship, but I'm only 1 pt ahead of Killagorilla in second place.

I think there are a couple of sections I'm getting all wrong then....I'm struggling with consistency in the left/right/left sequence at the start of the lap and the right/left/right before the back straight...I know there is more time there, but I can't see to find where the right line is....

The Firebird is just draggy, so long periods at full throttle hurt, it was most noticeable at Daytona.

It won't bother me though, my knee is buggered and as I'm a casual worker at the moment, I can't risk hurting it more and missing work, so I will be missing tonight.

Congratulations to Brad on taking out the championship, a clear winner with a 105 point lead over killagorilla in 2nd place. I came 3rd, just 3 points behind killagorilla.

Talk about a season turn around!  I was not liking the early races at all, car felt terrible and I was going backwards . . . but then came the Mustang.
I had a good round last week and tonight even grabbed a win!!!   In race two I found myself around 7-8 seconds in the lead as everyone behind was fighting, so I
just focused on keeping it clean.  I dropped a bit of time in the stop thanks to an overshoot and came out with Brad hot on my tail.  The next seven laps were survival,
Brad was all over my tail but I really wanted to hold on to the top spot.  He had one or two dives but ultimately I was able to get home in front . . . even dropped into the 1.21's!
So If only I had had the mustang earlier . . . what might have been

Thanks for the season Wally, I actually didn't mind these cars even though I sucked at driving them. I even made the seasons stat sheet  (summed up my season well) 
Sorry to the person I hit in race 2  Thought I'd take an early night after that (I was driving bad enough without damage let alone with damage) Grats to the podium thanks all Dave O.

I really enjoyed driving the 70s Mustang too. They would have been more fun if the braking wasn't so difficult.

My goal for the night was to stay in 2nd place in the championship, staying ahead of killagorilla. But in the double points race 2, I had the car pretty well behaved, and was in a safe looking 3rd, but at the first slow left hander, the car decided it wanted to go right to say hello to the tyre bundle. I dropped a heap of spots, but gained a few back. If it wasn't for that, I probably would have hung on to 2nd, but as it was, killagorilla was able to move up into 2nd by a few points.
