Season 38 is based on the 2001 Australian Formula Ford Championship. The winner of that championship was Will Davison, who beat Mark Winterbottom, Michael Caruso and Avon Rookie of the Year, Jamie Whincup, among others.

If you want to use a custom skin, or use the same skin every week, enter the skin folder name in the car dealer, e.g. "101" (without the quotes).

Cars
We will use Seanus' Van Diemen Formula Ford mod.

The Formula Ford requires Content Shader Patch. If you don't have it, you need to edit steamapps\common\assettocorsa\content\cars\legion_van_diemen_treaded\data\car.ini, and change "VERSION=extended-1" to "VERSION=1".

Schedule
Season schedule and track downloads are HERE. The season starts Jun 29 and finishes Aug 17.

Format
15 min qualifying session, starting at 8:30 pm Eastern, followed by 3 sprints of about 20 mins (progressive grid - where you finish the race is where you start the next one). No pitstops.

The top 6 point getters in each round will get a small amount of success restrictor for the next round, with the amount of restrictor depending on their average winning margin, in order to compress the field a little.

Points
20–16–14–12–10–8–6–4–2–1 for the first ten positions in each race.
One additional point is awarded for pole position at each round.

Penalty for causing an avoidable lap 1 incident is 25 kg ballast for race 1 only of the next round.

Yeah, they don't really get very hot. Mine are always cold, but provided you get a balance right, you can live with it.

Yep, it makes life easier, as I restart the AC server in between races.

Discord is encouraged, for fun and better communication, so you know when the server is being restarted between races, when it's back up etc.
