Only impacts over 30 kph get any amount of damage restrictor. All of the restrictor amounts are cumulative for the race. As expected, there's not much damage restrictor in the Beemers, but the XBow fares worse, with bigger crashes and impacts with barriers and so on.BMWContacts by driver==================Joe Stevens------------------ 30 kph 3 kphAB156------------------ 15 kph 2 kphSimone------------------ 52 kph (+3 restrictor)Seanus------------------ 72 kph (+6 restrictor)XBowContacts by driver==================Seanus------------------ 53 kph (+3 restrictor) 127 kph (+10 restrictor) 139 kph (+10 restrictor)rob------------------ 74 kph (+6 restrictor) 22 kphJoe Stevens------------------ 145 kph (+10 restrictor) 13 kph 24 kph 135 kph (+10 restrictor) 42 kph (+2 restrictor) 168 kph (+10 restrictor) 7 kphAB156------------------ 70 kph (+6 restrictor) 45 kph (+2 restrictor)XGN Wally------------------ 158 kph (+10 restrictor) 23 kph 7 kphBacchulum------------------ 9 kphJamie Passlow------------------ 30 kph 199 kph (+10 restrictor) Logged “You can please some of the people all of the time, you can please all of the people some of the time, but you can’t please all of the people all of the time” Wally Administrator Hero Member Posts: 11036 Karma: 152 AC Admin Re: BMW/X-Bow Post Race Chat « Reply #2 on: December 06, 2017, 07:07:18 AM » For anyone who wasn't there and is curious, the BMW gave much closer and consistent racing, being the easier car to drive. There were some good racing packs. The XBow field became much more spread out, with various spins and offs. The XBow is much more of a challenge to drive, but rewards someone who can drive it consistently. For someone who is not consistent (me) the ktm is such a pain, the consistent guys will walk away with it even with reverse grid. I'll go with whatever though I'm easy Logged Joe Hero Member Posts: 2368 Karma: 39 Re: BMW/X-Bow Post Race Chat « Reply #4 on: December 06, 2017, 10:52:35 AM » Quote from: Wally on December 05, 2017, 10:11:33 PMJoe Stevens------------------ 145 kph (+10 restrictor) 13 kph 24 kph 135 kph (+10 restrictor) 42 kph (+2 restrictor) 168 kph (+10 restrictor) 7 kphHaha sounds right. All of these were with the environment I believe My pedals wern't hitting 100% so I had to replug and restart AC etc so didn't get any practice time in at qually.BMW definitely produced close racing but it was a little easy/boring to drive. Even though I spun off a lot on the KTM I preferred it over the two. Nice to drive a car with the h-shifter for a Tuesday season too. Love the KTM, one of my favorite cars but are tempted to vote for the BMW to ensure a close racing season. The BMW also offer TC as additional help for drivers who had a bit too much to drink on race night Just remember to not put the BMW in gear on the start line Logged JamieP Jr. Member Posts: 141 Karma: 3 Re: BMW/X-Bow Post Race Chat « Reply #8 on: December 06, 2017, 12:55:26 PM » Had a pretty good race night. Got a little practice in the KTM which was nice. I personally like the KTM over the BMW as it's a car you have to be consistent and smooth and the feedback is excellent. The BMW felt like driving a boat and you could drive it like an arcade game with no real penalty. Having said that, the BMW does give very close racing which is great fun. I haven't driven the other 2 cars at all yet so I'll give them a go on the weekend.
