This kart is a lot of fun, and a candidate for the next season. There are quite a few kart tracks for AC.

In this fun run, we'll try Seanus's ROTAX Max kart and Shifter kart at this drift track layout (it adds extra karting layouts to the KS drift track).

Some 15 lap races in each kart.

The only Karts with, let's say, the best physics of any Sim, (excluding perhaps KartKraft, but yes including all the others), i.e. not car based, are available HERE.

Server said 'unable to do checksums' and failed to connect. So I deleted the track and car folder from the server and restarted it.

Whatever this thing is, it doesn't matter if it's fun to drive and hopefully gives good racing.

Yes please do, and if you really really really really feel like it's needed you can probably restore the car and track folder as I suspect my network was completely saturated leading to the sync issue.


As these Karts are my Magnum Opus, I would fear that if others preferred the little cars than I should leave modding all together.

I like the lower powered karts - I changed the cars to be two of Seanus's karts. The original RD kart did feel very heavy and less agile in comparison. The ROTAX is a single gear kart, while the shifter kart has... a shifter.

The Arrow was my latest WIP which I hadn't uploaded yet.
The other two, don't have physics yet, although it only takes a minute or two to do.
ACFL would probably give me grief if I shared it and the ROTAX 2020 was leaked personally to me so I'm on a promise not to share it publicly.

Both Karts are pretty good models and can be shared here if needed.

I think the shifter will give the best racing.
The Rotax relies on min. apex speed, which will also be the differentiator between fast/slow, which will lead to unavoidable nose/tail contact (IMHO).

I just wish I could add a little track to the rear for this circuit.....

I agree - anything that raises the chance of mistakes leads to less predictable results.
