Thursday Nights fun racing / Re: Track / Car Testing« on: November 02, 2015, 02:17:47 PM »
One thing to keep in mind is the "themeā of Thursday night racing. Is it focussing on older cars? Slower cars? Or is it anything goes?

Australian Assetto Corsa League, Tuesday nights / Re: S9R2: Zandvoort post-race chat« on: October 28, 2015, 07:43:26 PM »Freezer that would be as Ballast is now off both qualy and race laps so you were a bit quicker then Wally in both qualy sessions.Understood but from R2 I was .5 quicker in qualy and .5 slower in race yet still got more ballast (compared to Wally). Shouldn't the two results balance each other out a bit. I had no damage in r2 so they were true results. Here's the ballast "log" from race 1 (qual and prac). The average lap time was 1:25.870. The figures are (your best lap time, diff to the average): ballast change Freezer and I were slower than average, so dropped ballast. P1: Guybrush Threepwood (1:25.124, 0.746): 130 -> 156 P2: Skaife (1:24.961, 0.909): 40 -> 71 P3: StanDaam (1:25.504, 0.366): 89 -> 102 P4: Bacchulum (1:26.262, -0.392): 28 -> 15 P5: Wally (1:26.865, -0.995): 46 -> 12 P6: Marty (1:25.782, 0.088): 120 -> 123 P7: Bafs17 (1:26.140, -0.270): 0 -> 0 P8: Grat (1:26.997, -1.127): 108 -> 70 P9: Mael (1:25.134, 0.736): 0 -> 25 P10: christopheraser (1:25.679, 0.191): 60 -> 67 P11: G0RGAK (1:26.923, -1.053): 0 -> 0 P12: Freezer (1:26.471, -0.601): 63 -> 43 P13: Matthew111 (1:24.926, 0.944): 86 -> 119 P14: EdWood (1:26.070, -0.200): 121 -> 114 P15: Jeremy (1:25.095, 0.775): 100 -> 127 P16: Phil.8 (1:25.887, -0.017): 100 -> 99 P17: Will (1:25.902, -0.032): 104 -> 103 P18: Simone (1:25.936, -0.066): 38 -> 36 P19: Joe (0:00.000, 85.870): 32 -> 32 P20: Rolz (0:00.000, 85.870): 57 -> 57 P21: Grubbet (0:00.000, 85.870): 7 -> 7 P22: Chap111 (0:00.000, 85.870): 0 -> 0 P23: Schmittez (0:00.000, 85.870): 0 -> 0 Race 2 (average was 1:26.903) below. I was about on the average, so my ballast didn't change much. Freezer was 0.526 sec faster than the average (going on qually time), so got more ballast. I don't know why you could do 1:26.377 in qually, but then only 1:28.007 in race. Most other people's qually and race times were closer. Perhaps you grained/blistered your tyres with a spin or a drift, or a flatspot - that can have quite an impact on lap times. P1: Guybrush Threepwood (1:26.186, 0.717): 156 -> 178 P2: Bacchulum (1:26.501, 0.402): 15 -> 27 P3: Bafs17 (1:26.629, 0.274): 0 -> 8 P4: Phil.8 (1:26.520, 0.383): 99 -> 110 P5: Matthew111 (1:26.608, 0.295): 119 -> 128 P6: Wally (1:26.859, 0.044): 12 -> 13 P7: StanDaam (1:27.093, -0.190): 102 -> 96 P8: Marty (1:26.522, 0.381): 123 -> 134 P9: Freezer (1:26.377, 0.526): 43 -> 59 P10: Skaife (1:26.970, -0.067): 71 -> 69 P11: christopheraser (1:26.374, 0.529): 67 -> 83 P12: Jeremy (1:27.174, -0.271): 127 -> 119 P13: G0RGAK (1:27.697, -0.794): 0 -> 0 P14: Simone (1:26.211, 0.692): 36 -> 57 P15: Will (1:28.305, -1.402): 103 -> 62 P16: Mael (1:28.451, -1.548): 25 -> 0 P17: Grat (1:26.939, -0.036): 70 -> 69 P18: EdWood (1:26.846, 0.057): 114 -> 116 P19: Chap111 (0:00.000, 86.903): 0 -> 0 P20: Grubbet (0:00.000, 86.903): 7 -> 7 P21: Schmittez (0:00.000, 86.903): 0 -> 0 P22: Joe (0:00.000, 86.903): 32 -> 32 P23: Rolz (0:00.000, 86.903): 57 -> 57 7406

Sounds like good newsI only saw Freezer warping, but he often warps despite a really low ping, so it's probably something to do with his connection. The AC server bug that was fixed is more likely to cure random warps by differing people. 7409
Australian Assetto Corsa League, Tuesday nights / Re: S9R4: Spa pre-race chat« on: October 28, 2015, 07:27:03 AM »Ive put up the practice server and seeing as its a no pass server and a regular official track there will likely be more public in it. I have turned on Minorating for the server but filtered for grades ABCN so all guys should be able to get in here even if they have a rating but will filter out the 2 worst MR grades. Not sure if all XGN guys have a minorating yet so N means ungraded will get in, anyone that somehow is rated D or W just let me know and I will enable those but Id be surprised if that was the case with anyone.I couldn't connect to the practice server last night with the new IP. I don't know if it was just me or if something else had changed. 7410

Videos are a great promo tool, but they take time to make. I'll upload some replays.
